Good set ups but have you tried adjusting the LSD. Havent seen that yet.
I get smother laps with LSD set at 6:58:7. I haven't really fooled with the minolta but this assists on most cars for me.

Has anyone tested these settings, if so; does it suit your driving style.
Also, do you like the settings.
I don't use asm. You might find that removing asm makes your car more responsive. You can then tune for stability to replace the "secure" feeling asm provides.

yup, coldblade I like the settings as well, tried them out. it get's a little bit squirrley but it's really really good stuff..

and I'd like to say a hello...yup, Im a newb to the boards but not to the game :)

You didn't REALLY think a 50,000c modification would hurt performance, did you?
Let's see, Pescarolo C60, ah, here it is. I am likely to improve on this tune, but here is one to try, I used all modifications INCLUDING frame stiffner; 1'05 at Deep forest on first lap racing hards:

brake 6/7
springs 13.3/13.5
height 65/65
bound 7/8
rebound 8/9
camber 2.2/1.2
toe -4/4 (for turn in throttle steering)
stabilizers 4/4
asm/o 0
asm/u 0
tcs 3
downforce 63/88
lsd 10/40/20

and, of course this:
with the final set to 2.6
Enjoy

Just finished 24 hr. at the Sarthe. Finished 4 laps ahead of the Sauber and absolutely perfect tire wear. Tires outlasted my fuel! A-spec and B-spec as I had to work. Only problem now is the Audi R8 that I won chirps like the Minolta does down that long straight using your setup from a previous thread. Thanks for the hard work guys. People like me appreciate it. Later 👍

The '04 Pescarolo.

BTW, laziness is not looked upon brightly. It's one thing if it's some complex question in a 50 page thread, but it's another thing if it's a simple question that can be searched with the search function in a 2 page thread (that takes a few minutes to read).

I was looking around for a car to purchase to fit a little power/group niche and stumbled across the Pesky's. Wow, a LMP with 591 HP. The 800+ HP cars are just too much for the Big championships. I have won many individual races in a few LM cars; Ford GT specII, Zonda, Skyline Concept, hell even a 600+ HP Castrol Supra JGTC. But when I found this low HP thoroughbread, I was truly happy.

Bought it. Raced it. Wow for 591 horses this was too easy. Ok, what's going on here, it now misteriously has over 800 horses.

Anyone else notice this? What's the deal?

Same thing happened when I changed oil. Have you changed it too?

Actually I noticed it before I changed oil. I bought it at took it straight to the GTWC. In the 3rd or 4th race I went to the tuning screen and noticed the HP/Torque graph in the corner. I exited the championship and went to my garage to verify what I had seen, and sure enough.

Weird. maybe the engine has a breaking in period. If I remember properly that was the case in GT3, the max HP was reached after a few miles and then deacreased slowly.

Yea, but I don't believe it was in the 40% range. I've seen in other threads that under rating cars is common in Japan. If you'll notice with cars like the STI's, EVO's, and Skylines, they show 279 hp and when purchased actually have in the high 200 to low 300 horsepower range. It is a marketing courtesy in Japan between different manufacturers. They don't squabble over 10 or 15 horses. I wonder if this is similar.

I'll leave it to Mulder & Scully ;)

Cheers m8,
Crazilly Enough My B-speccer Is Called Bob :)
Did The 7mm Cure The Tire Wear, & if so, performance wise, could it easily cut same times as pescarlo's and the audi , in the sense of same pitting Strategies or Not 👍
thank god that stupid wiggle at 240mph was driving me insane. me and b-spec tard both agree that the 7mm helped alot. now how do i keep it from making 90degree turns at 260? you tap the stick and the car is bouncing off the walls like a pinball! :nervous:

Try the search. Specify "search by title" and use the name of the car in question.

The Pescarolo is QUOTED at 591BHP in the SHWOROOM, but if you check it straight away after buying it you'll find this is nowhere near right. The showroom numbers are occasionally out, but this time they're more than 200BHP astray. I noticed this too, it's not a breaking-in period (but good idea), it's just a glitch between the two displays, or maybe Pescarolo lie to be within the LeMans limit for not having traction control (<600BHP)

Mulder & Scully begone, DE is on the case! :D
