That way I can be validated on my times since my sharkport finally works!!!! And sharkport users can exchange replays same with Xport users, win-win situation.

Yes, by zipping a file, you can attach any possible file type to your message, as long as it is under the size limit. Oh well, I'll add xps and sps extensions anyway.

There's this little utility (shareware) called Winzip [ http://www.winzip.com ] that makes zip files for you.

The other option is to just change the filename extension and leave a note in the message that says what to change it back to.

Good suggestions on the ZIP compression... I was gonna suggest it, but you guys beat me to it.

One thing to note is that by zipping the file, you can actually make the attachment smaller in size. This helps in two area's.

1.) If the .sps or .xps file is larger than the 70k limit, you can compress it and upload the .zip file that could be smaller.

2.) You will reduce the amount of bandwidth/file space that Jordan is paying for.

Well i know about winzip but i have never ziped a file before i have only unzipped them, and the replays are only like 40 some odd Kb.

I see .xps is now a permitted type, but what about .sps? I know it's not necessary, as I can just change it .xps and let fellow sharport users change it back, but it would be a convenience.

edit: Hadn't noticed how old this thread was. Well, ya can't say I didn't "search".

It would be best if you zipped the .sps file type, HareTurtle.

Yes, you could do that too, I guess.
