No bot here — just an old Gran Turismo fan with maybe too much hope for a proper PC version. 😉
The images are obviously fan-made mockups, but the wish behind them is real: Gran Turismo on PC with triple-screen support, VR/OpenXR, proper direct-drive wheel support, dedicated servers, driver swaps and serious online racing — just to name a few wishes — would be a dream for many sim racers.

I mean... sure, you don't need a whole AI pitch to sell me on the idea of Gran Turismo on PC. I'd love to see Gran Turismo come to PC (in a way that doesn't require forbidden rituals), but as a "Gran Turismo, but hey it's also on PC!" edition rather than some PC-exclusive "PC-ass tryhardcore racing sim" edition.

Gt is a standout title for PlayStation precisely because it’s is EXTREMELY optimised for PlayStation hardware. It achieves 120fps in ps2vr on a regular ps5, not a ps5pro.

I’m a pc player also but this game belongs on PlayStation forever. You would have to be really ignorant or naive to this otherwise. The post of the OP is ridiculous

Whether you want GT on PC or not, or think it's a good idea or not, optimisation isn't really the key argument anymore. While there are differences to account for, the difference between optimising a game for PS5 v PC is considerably smaller than it was just 2 console generations ago.

This helps everyone, the game developers, the console manufacturers and in theory, the consumers who get better optimised products across all platforms. The challenge with PC's is always the wide range of hardware combinations that can exist, but that's why games are optimised for a minimum spec.

Making games for PC or PS5 isn't identical, there is certainly work involved, but it's not the vast chasm it once was. And consoles are more and more effectively becoming PC's with a different OS/UI with each generation as the gap continues to shrink.

GT, and several other PS5 exclusives, exist to sell the PS5. Sales of PS5 mean more people buying games for the PS5, and for every PS5 game sold, Sony gets paid a fee.

Releasing exclusives for the PC is exactly what has killed the Xbox. They chased per unit profitability, and destroyed the overall profitability. Sony has experimented with it for a few titles, but this won't continue. GT would be literally the last title to every go to PC because it is the most used title to attract people to Sony televisions (and Sony surround systems, etc).

Sony is an electronics company first, and then a content company, and they'd much prefer that their content be used on their electronics.

It's akin to asking why Google doesn't make an iPhone

Yup, and this isn't like Microsoft, who have hinted since the Xbox One days this was the route they were going down. That whole campaign a while back they did in regards to every device being an Xbox makes it clear as day they're eventually planning to transition away from hardware. Same can be said for them scooping up game studios. They've been gearing themselves up for when the Xbox gets shifted into a GAAS platform.

They're building themselves up to the point where they can make their own content and keep enough of the profits without the hardware overhead costs.

Sony is not in the same boat. Like it or not, they need those console exclusives or else they lose that advantage.
 
I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze. I can't really see GT doing much better than even Forza Motorsport on PC, especially when there are already tons of other options.
