Please Don't Tell Me (Digital/Analog Tachometer)

this is a kinda off topic question, but it also involves a little feature in gt4 and i didnt want to open another thread just to ask a small question.

which button do i press to see the little gt4 wheel turning in the lower middle of the screen when watching replays?
 
i always played 3rd person. all the ways from gt1. i like to see the car. i dont look at guages except speed. i saw this one guy sayin he was mad because the tach didnt have notches ever 100 rpm so he couldnt shift precisely. how can he see where he is driving if he's lookin at the tach hard to notice what notch he is on :confused: ?!?!?! i havent seen anything in the game to complain about. very pleased with it. i also saw some guy complain about the physics. like the brakes locking when he used them too hard and the weight transfer messing up his line saying it wasnt "real" :crazy: for a car to do that. hhmmm last i checked the brakes on my fiero 👍 lock when i stomp them. could this be because it has no ABS 💡 . no ABS!! why all cars ever made have ABS this could not be :eek: !!!! oh no i didnt brake correctly going over a turn downhill darn that weight. its transfering causing my car to drive differently just like in real life 👎 .
 
I can't drive in 3rd person view I find that i can't place the car as i like when i turn into a corner. With the Bumper/Bonnett cams you can be more precise with the front of the car & its a lot easier to hit the apex's Etc...
 
It seems that we've been waiting for an awful long time for a game that's not completely thought out. How absentminded are the developers to not let us have a tach. in 3rd person view!? Why is it that a Chevelle with a 454 sounds wussy??
-Musclecars with no posi traction?? Come on!!
-Every muscle car has been off on the power figures (I don't care if its 1 or 30, it's still off.).
-Why is it that a 1969 Camaro sounds exactly like a 2000? They may both have a 350, but not much else is the same.
-That ZO6 Corvette sounds like it has a 4-cyl.
-And what's with 47,000 tires??
I could rant about this for a while, but I've got better things to do.
