So basically, even if you had the money to get one, they were all already bought and paid for before the car was actually announced.BT-> Car and Driver said it will be a limited production sports car similar to the Alfa 8C.

It must have some serious aerodynamics to keep this beauty on the road, the short wheelbase coupled to the mid-mounted engine will make high speed braking really thrilling.
Also, it's a real shame it won't get mass-produced ( I mean supercar-like mass production, like 3000 units), but even if they only decide to make 50 of these, it will be enough. 25 will be at Dubai, so we'll never see them again, 15 will be bought by enthusiastic collectors ( Go for it Jay Leno! ) and some will be visitable, 5 will be sold to wealthy guys who know how to handle and treat the car and the remaining five will end up in the hands of footballers and playboys, meaning they'll be totaled within the first two years from the purchase date.

That side-by-side comparo...is the new one the EXACT SAME SIZE as the original!?
If so...Give Lancia a Hand for not pulling a Ford GT on us!
Well, it's official....this Stratos has officially become the sexiest thing with four wheels, beating out the AR 8C/Brera, and the AM V8 Vantage.
Dammit. I want one....now.
^ No they are not. But with these sites enthusiastically excited on the "New Stratos", they both made a quality site that Lancia itself didn't bother on it.Are those Lancia-backed sites? Because they are very well built, although hard for me to read in German.

-> My question is...who really built this New Stratos?
- Pininfarina
- Lancia
- A collaboration of Bertone-Pininfarina-Lancia-Ferrari
- Some group of blokes who just build this car from the skeletons of the 430
^ I need answers before I log this car on my GT5 Vehicle Wish List.![]()

source: http://www.new-stratos.com/In September 2008, Michael and his son Maximilian Stoschek commissioned Pininfarina to build a one-off vehicle the technical concept and design of which were largely determined by the two car enthusiasts.
^ Hmm, I see then. So I'll format the car on my VWL like this:The car has been built by Pininfarina in a single model for a german businessman, he also got the other Stratos in Marlboro livery of the pics, as Paulie said the new one is based on a F430 Scuderia.

The fact that it's based on an F430S is very appealing, but I feel it's a 1992 redesign and not a 2010 redesign (the tail, however, is very pretty). The Fenomenon Stratos concept of a few years ago was spot-on though:
