Well, every so often, after acting like a human being, and not a droid on this forum, i recieve these warning PMs. And some of them, include 'points'. What do these points mean?

I have deleted the PMs, so it's not as if i can read them over agin, to try and understand them.

Thanks for the help. :)

I'm a third of the way there...

10/30! Yeah! :sly:

The stupid thing is; i got 10 points on-the-spot, because i started a thread, but didn't have time to ellaborate on it, because my course in college was startng.

You remember my thread "New Audi A2", well, it was that.

Interesting, isn't it, that we 200,000 members who are capable of both behaving like a human and sticking to their own promises about abiding to our rules, yet you seem to think that posting in appropriate English and contributing is somehow robotic behaviour?

Perhaps you shouldn't have if you wanted to understand them, particularly given that the Infraction includes an explanation of what Infraction Points are on the bottom of it? We still have them though.

Got to wonder why you bothered starting it then, given that the contents of it were:

Two words; Massive Fail!
A) It has lost all the original character fr

Fascinating, worthwhile contribution. Given that you already had a Warning for making useless posts, objecting to receiving an Infraction for making useless posts nine days later seems a bit naive. Or forgetful.

Oh, incidentally:

AUP
You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

With regards to the "i" incident, please direct me to the post where, in using this letetr, i was 'text-speaking'.

It is robotic, when having a laugh results in your post being deleted from the thread.

I just seen them as a nuisance, so i tidied up my inbox.

No real argument, you are right, i shouldn't have bothered starting it when i was unlikely to be able to finish it.

See above.

Oh, incidentally:

Done.

I, when used mid sentence is a capital, e.g Look at that over there, I don't know what it is!

They're separate clauses. Don't use text speak. Use good grammar - including using capitals properly. The personal "I" is always capitalised in English.

So long as you learn for next time. Oh, and that includes not double-posting.

Incidentally I like "a laugh" at very, very many non-AUP appropriate things. I don't do them on GTP because I agreed to the AUP.

I think the "i" should be capitalized.

Fair, enough. I never really seen it as that much of a problem. I do like to have good grammar, so I will try to incorporate the use of a capital 'I' from now on.

Yeah, yeah, I know :D, I just couldn't think of a way to incorporate your quote(s) into my original message.

This, I disagree with, sorry, but I don't think it's THAT bad.

I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with. I don't do things here that break the AUP because I agreed to the AUP. It's not rocket science and unless your word is utterly worthless, it's not that hard.

I'm admin on Barryboys, for glaven out loud, the sweariest site on the internet. Our rules there are different to our rules here.

I Disagree with the fact that you can't even have a joke on this forum.

Why did you start a thread and not finish it?

Someone is slooooow...

"That's your opinion. However it's Famine's opinion that matters here."

You are a prime example of the robotic nature of the members of this forum, must-do-what-famine-says.must-do-what-famine-says.must-do-what-famine-says.must-do-what-famine-says.

You can. We even have a jokes thread.

200,000 members manage to have a laugh, within the bounds of the AUP. Why can't you?

Famine enforces the AUP. The AUP was written by Jordan, the guy who owns and wrote this website. Oh, also, you agreed to it. You must do what the AUP says. It's simply not that hard.

If you have so little respect for me enforcing the rules, Jordan writing them and yourself for agreeing to them, why did you agree to them and why are you still posting here?

Er, I don't bow down to Famine. I respect him. I asked a simple question you can't seem to answer...

Yeah you're right, I don't know what came over me there. Something in my head was telling me to say what I was thinking. But thankfully you have broken that spell Famine, and I can get back to doing what i agreed to do...

Must-do-what-Famine-says.

Seriously though, I didn't realise how bad it was on this Forum, until you started complaining about the case of my letter 'I's.

Did you read the AUP at sign up?
I'm not mini modding...just wondering.

Sorry, it's our fault that you read our rules, ticked a box to say you'd read and agreed to them (a digital signature) and then continued signing up, only then to object to our rules... why? Do you often sign things only to break the terms and conditions - and blame the terms and conditions for existing, or the courts for enforcing them?

We've seen arguments like this a couple of hundred times before. They're always from people who seem quite shocked to learn that the rules apply to everyone, even them. It never ends in their favour.

Go back to speaking Google Translator Italian so you can be given a holiday from the forums so we don't have to put up with your attitude....

How dare you!🤬 Mock me like that! However, let's see if you get given an 'infraction', i think not. You have that holiday, and use the time to buck up your attitude.:irked:

So you didn't read it and you said that you should go back to doing what you agreed to? How can you if you don't even know what that is?

No.

So you made a false declaration then. Only you ticked the box to say you'd read and agreed to it, before you were even allowed to type your chosen username in the relevant box. Did you know that lying is against the AUP too?

Of course, since you've agreed to the rules, you don't get to ignore them at your fiat. The rules apply to all members and any problem you have with the rules are just that - your problem.
