I'm straight but I knew a gay guy and he was made fun of all the time in ninth grade because of it. and I think its more then 10% because at the school I went to, I didn't see more then one so the percentage is probably say about higher then ten.

Was your school really underpopulated or something if one child is MORE than 10% of the school?
 
Surely the majority of voters on this forum are too young to know whether or not they're gay? Most homosexual young teenagers on this forum will actively deny it for years. Men don't usually 'come out' until they're around 18-20 or so.
I'm almost 21 and very happy in the knowledge i'm attracted to women, but some of you youngens still have the cupboard to look forward to venturing out of.
 
I´m not gay, but I have a few friends who are. And there´s a lot of homossexuals at work too. But I´m not sure they´re 10% of the staff, it´s something between 5 and 10 percent.

it was alot of people to fill up almost all the class rooms(and it was a pretty big school) but it was just one dude that was gay. no other dude was talking or acting gay.

1 out of an entire school <10%

Yet you say with one gay guy in your WHOLE school, the proportion of gay people must be MORE than 10%?

Did he act gay and put you off in maths lessons or something?

I'm straight and looking to get engaged soon. But I hang out with some gay guys from work, they are just like me except they make more money, drive a lot nicer car, have nicer clothes, and drink more expensive drinks. They are pretty cool guys, we joke around with each other all the time about each other sexual preferance. But they are pretty cool guys and they do the same things I do, drink beer, watch football, throw darts, etc.

10% is commonly mentioned, but according to the homosexuals I know, the number is between 5 and 10%.
 
yea this made me think of something. this might have already been said and i apologize if it has but i wanted to post it before i forgot. but anyways, whats with girls now days being bi-sexual? i'd say at least half the girls i know and have talked to since my freshman year in highschool to freshman year in college have been bi-sexual. is this the new trend? i dont get it.
