This is GT6 forums, so forgive me for getting defensive quicklyCalm down, I put happy smiley in my post so please don´t feel offendend. If I am nitpicking that actually means I read all of what you said, otherwise I couldn´t do it. Thing is, MY point of view is, that if you like to buy a 20 Mill. $ car, you need to grind, no matter what. Doing the Red Bull challenge over and over again, is grinding. And my original comment was about the seasonals which give you money just once. If you did all the seasonals, you have may be 2 Millions in credits.... that money runs out quicker than it should. And what than? All cars estimate to 350 Million $. You would also have to grind in GT5 for that and GT5 gives more money.
So MY opinion is: The payout is to low and they don´t do repeatable seasonals because they want to sell you the microcash... The kind of races you have in GT5 which you can do over and over again, with differnet cars and settings and still got some nice cash... its gone in GT6 due to stupid AI...
Me quoting you is not nitpicking by the way. I respond to things you say. Its called conversation. I thought I had a decent one with you discussing different opinions. No need to be in rage.![]()
I don't think the payouts are all that bad. The most expensive cars should be hard to get for a reason. But then PD defeats that by making credits purchasable, so IMO that's dumb, but I understand why they did it. But yeah, I don't like micro transactions at all. Anyway, like I said, I think expensive cars should be hard to get. But I will say that there are enough of them in GT6 that it would take some incredible grinding sessions to buy them all. So yes your point is valid there. I will never own them all because I don't grind all that much. I think PD should make more events in career mode and more seasonal events available at a time, so we won't have to grind as much and get bored as quickly. This I have always felt is a big problem with GT5 and GT6. It's not that hard for PD to add more events and it would keep us interested for longer, add re-playability, reduce grinding required for the very expensive cars, and probably increase sales of the series. But my original point is still valid, at least they made it so we don't have to grind to buy a Mazda 787B or similar car, unlike GT5, which most of us would have.
