Would you like to be able to create Custom Folders for your Garage?

Fantastic feature i neeeeeed
Even with only 490 cars, i really have to dig if i want to use something different than my favorites
For something simple like that i would love it to death
 
I've wanted a feature like this since release. I like to favorite all of my tuned cars, but having their own folders based on power would be great.
 
I think i'd just prefer a favourites list that is longer, maybe 150 or 200 cars instead of a mere 100.

With over 1,000 cars in a game there is bound to be more than 100 cars people have as favourites, it is an unrealistic limit. :(

However, really would like to bring it backup to make PD considering implanting into GT5

I'd like a folder where I could store ALL my cars; that, or get rid of the premium/standard apartheid...

Definitely. I don't have that big of an issue with the Garage, except that it doesn't have "Custom Folders" and a MUCH larger "Favorites" limit. Doubling the limit would pretty much do.
 
Now that is one poll, that PD should take a look at. At the moment 139 votes "yes" and 0 votes "no". Nice.

PS: I am sure, that since I wrote that some Spoilsport Killjoy will enter a "no" in that poll just to spite that.
 
This has been one of my biggest wishes since the game came out. Great thread OP, hopefully PD pays attention to the overwhelming vote count on this one.
 
Do want this!

It could also extend to the paints folder.. currently, we can sort by hue, but for those of us with 1000+ paints and want to get to the yellows.. :mad:

The argumentation is really simple: Why not?
As it is now, it's very limited to just sort cars after PP or power. All the cars that have medium power will get somewhat lost in the garage if you have 600+ cars.
 
"Collectible" 0/0/0 cars
"Needs oil change" new or used cars in need of an oil change before I drive them.
"Fully tuned"
"Sport Tuned"
"Stock"
 
This is a fantastic idea that should be simple for PD to implement. Particularly, I wanted a tab for the Karts, away from my cars.
 
So much can be done with the garage and yet it gets no focus from PD. Custom categories and headings for a start. Identifying how long since an oil change/chassis refresh/engine rebuild. Which cars are unmodified, which aren't. I've got to imagine most of the tools are already built in, as it's now possible when online to designate many different groups of cars like GT500, Touring Cars, Ferrari's Only, etc. Should be a very simple thing to do. You'd think that someone at PD would have figured this out after trying to sort through 1000 cars.

I've got 800+ cars and what I do now is, I use only best tuned standards in my favourites because it's 100 or less and the easiest place to sort through. My best premiums are at exact PP levels of 450/500 etc, so they are also easy to find under the premium tab. So for me, basically if the car is not premium or a favourite, it's untuned or not tuned well enough to race online, which really narrows down the garage to a manageable level for online racing.

I agree.
It would make selecting cars for online racing easier.
Sometimes you don't won't to scroll through 1000 cars just to find that one GT300 car.
So long as it's not limited to a few options and you can create folders like "Real Life Cars" to put cars you own or friends own in RL.
 
It's pretty much a no-brainer and if you do a search on this site you'll see that it's an idea that's been touted around several times since GT5's release, so for that reason alone I doubt we'll see it in GT5, if they were going to include it they would have done it by now :(

That's, actually, my issue with it. I like to try out a lot of different cars one after another and the giant list is disorienting to scroll through.
 
I would even just love to be able to organize MY garage to MY liking.
