Yes to both. Not arguing with brick walls this time... just saying yes.
I hate the quoting on this site...And come on, I won't believe that Kaz played this game to level forty and grinded for all the cars. I would believe he never actually played the game at all except for just driving for fun with all the cars he likes.
Oh if that's not clear by now, I'm against the restrictions
I can see kaz playing this game the same way the "purists" play it. Or even the way I play it (I like to trade, but I choose not to dupe (though I could care less if people choose to do it...)) But, he also "made" the game... so for him, playing it is seeing his "masterpiece" grow. Also, being that he's such a perfectionist, thats why I can see him despising the duping. But either way really, we're on about the same thing.
Dupers brought this on themselves, so I doubt this is going to get any attention from PD
Sorry if my statement was understood in the wrong way. I'm not a native speaker and I was quite tired when I wrote that, so please let me restate it.
I meant that I think Kaz never had to grind +12 hours to get a car he wanted, and I also don't think that he had to drive the same races over and over and over again for 1000x times to gain some levels. Of course I don't think that Kaz never has played this game, but I do think that he "started" his career with no level restriction in buying any car he liked, that he had unlocked everything which was developed at that time and when he wanted to drive drive a certain car he just did so, with no need to grind for +12 game hours and spending a couple of days in the process.
Hey dude, it's a racing game not a trading game. If you want all the cars work for them yourself. Ktnxbai.
Nice Poll btw........ o.O

A Chaparral 2J just popped up, the day after I bought a BMW V12 LMR, Pennzoil Zexel GT-R, and a Celica GT-Four Rally Car (ST185) '95. I'm short by just below 2 million.
Even if I got it, I'd have to somehow gain several millions to be able to afford the 88 Jag or the 92 Peugeout or Nissan, or the 03 Bentley, so having no help from PD really sucks - especially when payouts are so low now!
There needs to be one more choice:
"Meh, I don't care about either"
Put me down for that one.
LambomeanieI think a few points have been overlooked here, and I have something of a solution ( though not perfect, it's workable. )
The whole 'it's a racing game not a trading game' argument is laughable. Trading is part of the social interaction put into this GT to allow players another way to meet new people. It provides a break from grinding and affords people the chance to trade with each other for cars/paints that may rarely come up in their GT life. I'm fine with one per day, but value limitations have killed this for me as I've over 480 cars now, and most of the cars I seek rarely come up in my UCD, but may do in my friends.
I feel if PD imposed a trade value dependent on your game progress it would solve the million limit issue. For example, someone at levels 0-20 cannot trade in cars over Cr. 1,000,000, but those at levels 20-30 can do so up to 2,000,000. With a cap at levels 30-40 being around 5,000,000. It has a lot of benefits with cross level trading too. If a higher ranked player needs a rare car from a lower ranked player and swaps an X2010 for it, the lower ranked player cannot go on to trade that car till he ranks up. It also means secondary accounts, being usually starter levels, can't trade back for duping.
It goes deeper than just that but I'm harping in a bit. Let me know what you think...![]()
