i say none at all. i dont play gt5 to spend time decorating vinyls. it'll take heaps away from racing online. i can just imagine people losing focus if they see something funny on the back bumper or something. i aint into that. it doesnt happen in real life, you dont see GT cars, rally cars, or any high level competition with cars all plastered with non advertisement vinyls. its a distraction and i hope Kaz doesnt go that way.
just my 2 cents.
noisiaturismoNo but Spec 3 should.

Is there some sort of disconnect from reality that somehow lends validity to these arguments? With vinyl wraps.
GT6 release day - lots of nice cars online
2 days after release day - every car will sport an 'alien smoking a spill' decal.
4 days after release day - ming-o-car and penis special first seen in the wild.
6 months after release when 2% of people are left playing it - nice tasteful decals.

So..... In GT5 but not.... GT6...... Hhmmmmm
That's not necessarily true. Strictly speaking, any car that you can repaint in theory already has what would be necessary to edit liveries on it, because it means the textures on the car are not hard coded and are instead alpha maps.Would love a livery editor, it won't happen in gt5 but maybe gt6 when I guess all cars will be premium, would not work on standard cars so pointless in this version.
MuoNiuLaI really wish people would stop assuming everyone wants to put stupid 🤬 on their cars just because they want a livery editor. It's starting to get old. For goodness sake, not everyone is immature like that. Some of us are just interested in making genuine race cars, just as they exist in real motorsport.
And besides, people can already make some pretty hideous cars despite GT's limited customization, so please don't think adding a livery/vinyl editor is going to ruin online, when there are some huge eyesores that exist already.
ParkourVeyronAs Toronado said, there is and was already a thread on this. (I started it) We really don't need another. Just discuss it in one of the existing ones.

Sorry, I fail to see the attraction of taking a perfectly fine car covering it in tat and making it look like a clown car.
This could be an age thing as I cant stand all that Fast and the Furious and NFS underground stickers and neon scene
I'm not moaning, we don't need duplicate threads. And it's not bad to see the glass half empty, if everybody saw the glass half full, there would never be any improvement on anything, we would still be draped in animal hide chiseling arrow points from stone.Do you do nothing but moan? That's all I ever see you posting, moan about this winge about that, definitely a glass half empty guy!
That's exactly what people are going to do with livery editors. There's no way that players could possibly replicate models of factory cars that didn't make it into the game or pay tribute to historic race liveries. Nope, everyone will make clown cars.
