I found Special license easy even before the patch...which made me a bit sad because (for me) GT4 Special license was much difficult and rewarding (in psicological terms:D) as well as the others...
But I'm stuck on the IS-F test...I just can't find those 0.00000000001 seconds to gold it:mad: so my vote will be IA.

So during the outage, I managed to get to 48 Gold, 12 Silver.

I'm having a heck of a time with the cone challenges and the Le Mans challenges.

Also, the IA Grand Valley Speedway 2 Lap Battle is starting to get on my nerves. That Lambo just wants to slide EVERYWHERE!!!

Any help would be appreciated!!

I'm using a DS3

FR Cone Slalom Challenge ,simply undoable without a wheel...imho.

Yet I managed to do it in 15 minutes with a DS3 :D

Anyway, I had more problems doing the International C licence tests than any other, specifically the '1000m Stopping Challenge' and the 'Taking a Tight Double Hairpin' challenge.

my last gold was 1000m with the aston martin. lol

60 gold wiyh ds3.

i voted IC... 1000m and duble hairpin xD

IB in my opinion. Still didn't gold it. Although I really haven't tried again in a while. The braking, slalom, and 1 other test are holding me back. I might give them a shot this weekend if I get time.

Without a doubt the tight double hairpin was the most difficult to gold. The cone challenge was more about technique (not applying full gas in 3rd) but it took me a while to work that one out too!

The first time I took on the license tests I managed almost all of them with silver, few with a gold and 2-3 with bronze. After a month or two I tried again and I converted most of the silvers to gold and the bronzes to silver. Recently I made them all golds.

The funny thing is that the FR slalom test which was one of the original bronze was unbelievably easy the last time I tried, I succeeded after 4-5 tries with a DS3.

Long story, short. Never insist too much! Come back later when you are cool and relaxed and have a better knowledge of the tracks and cars and most probably you will (at least) improve your time.

The two tests that killed me were the FR slalom and the Rome 2 lap battle in the BB512.

I also found the Gallardo undriveable with a DFGT, could never make the first slight high-speed left turn and brake without losing control. Then I switched to the DS3 and gold came after 4 tries. Funny...

The challenges that take the longes are the ones where you have to accelerate in a straight line and stop.

Man I HATE those.
I always have to do them 150 times before I accidentally get it by 0.000001 seconds.

The rest of the tests are fairly easy imho.
I golden them with DS3 the first account, then used G25 wheel to gold them om second account.

No, the ones I hate most are the ones with accelerate then brake. The 'super easy' ones thus :|

Funnily I did the double hairpin yesterday in about 10 minutes and I dont consider myself super skilled or anything.

However the Alfa 8C special challenge at Eiger is god damn IMPOSSIBLE!!

IB has 2 of the harder tests... the slalom and the wet stopping challenge.

I struggled on the wet stopping one for quite a while before figuring out the handbrake helped enormously!

The cone one is great fun once you get the rythmn, but can be frustrating up to that point.

International C, all because of the Braking Test and the Cone Slalom:banghead:

The Super Licenses in GT5 are in fact, the easiest ones to complete:dunce:

IC because of Braking Test and the double hairpin one and the rome 2 lap challenge. IB comes a close second though, the cone slalom and surprisingly, the snow rally one

IC 3 , double hairpin. It's the last one for all gold & still a few thousanths off. I've tried about all the combos available on the DS3 & still no luck. I guess try try again??

Just cut the last hairpin if you want an easy way out.

There's a bit of curb sticking out which you can use to your advantage to gain hundreths, maybe even tenths.

The hardest for me was the 1000m stopping challenge in the DB9. Certainly in terms of time spent.

So, that and the 2 laps of Rome in the 512BB made International C the hardest by some margin for me.

Yeah, I never golded all the license tests and then I bought a DFGT and had trouble getting used to it so I figured I'd go back and try to gold them all. I'm about half way through them now and most have been relatively easy but I still Haven't golded that DB9 stopping test. I tried for about 2 hours the other day and got within .069 sec of it with a hole slew I think 26.8XX's and high 26.7Xx's. If memory serve's me you need 26.700 to gold. I've tried different launch techniques, shifting points, ABS on 1 and ABS off, you name it. I tried it. Got frustrated and gave up.

Anyone got any suggestions? I'm almost thinkin of using the DS3 just for this 1 test cause the quicker transition from gas to break just might be the answer. And I mean really I came within 69 thousandth's with the wheel so if that's the difference maker I'm still pretty happy if I'm able to gold everthing else with the wheel.

I have quite my hardest ones and my easiest ones (that being the apllied overtaking). I don't quite rember which we're the hardest beacuse it makes quite some time since I made the licenses.

IA Grand Valley. Just cant keep that Lambo on the track, and stay fast enough, and race aggressive enough, without using (in)human shields.

Definaltly the cone test for me, my DS3 is old and getting half throttle is near impossible with it.

Turning Off your abs will make the car stop faster, I kept getting within a thousands of a second and after turning it to 0 got the gold right away.

Rome City Course 2-Lap Challenge was the most difficult for me. That and the stopping challenge.
