i LOVE it
agree.
Anyway, I hate the FGT. The only car I feel I can't drive properly. It'll snap into understeer and oversteer with no warning. It spins the tyres at every corner. The handling feels dull. It's fast, but far from my ideals of fun. The Group C and LMP cars are excelloent though. At least they feel like (crazily overpowered) cars.
IMO, its the hardest car in the game to drive near its limits. That's what makes it the most fun for me though.
FGT is a warm-up before X1

X1 = so fast it's kind of stupid and not very realistic. I never use it.

At least the fgt is sort of similar to older f1 cars.

Bah.. it's alright. I'm not a big fan of formula racing. There are a ton of Formula type games out there, I get GT so I can chose from a big library of domestic cars that I can slightly tune or leave stock & then race them around the Nurburgring.

I feel basically the same way. I've practiced with it numerous times and just can't get it down. I've also tried a couple different tunes and fail with all of them.

I've got all next week off so maybe I'll have it mastered soon lol.

Don't really love it or hate it, so I guess it's just okay. When you go into a corner too fast, it slides in a perfectly balanced way - no oversteer or understeer, just moves sideways and keeps you pointed in the right direction. Like something out of an an arcade racer. Makes it a bit hard to take it seriously. However I don't mind my B-spec guys winning me lots of money with it.

The capabilities of that thing are incredible. It's just stupid fast. Too fast for my skill level (so far).

tiny monster! good grip and great acceleration. I love it, win the FGT champion in the 1st attempt. and finish 200 miles laguna seca below 1 hr half. Hopefully they will upgrade it to premium.

It's an absolute pile of s***.

I can't believe that i blew nearly 5mill credits, then have to go through the pain of 100 laps across 5 circuits to get Extreme championship finished.

Aside from the time it's going to take to complete the championship, it's just a boring P.O.S to drive and lacks any form of excitement. It's going to be the bane of my existence i feel.

Hate it. Now that I'm done with the FGT Championship, I don't ever want to drive that again.

It seems much more of a pig to drive than in GT4, no mechanical grip at all in anything below a 3rd gear corner, spins the wheels through 3rd and 4th, and feels a lot more jittery at high speed, I barely had the nerve to keep my foot down through Kesselchen.

You have to set it up with the right tune. Also, not flooring it every time helps. :sly:

Bah... it's all right.

^^^ this is code for "I can't handle it" :D

Feel the same. Spent hours testing set ups in the end having to resort to tons of TC, steering help, spin help etc. Not fun at all.

Must check tuning forum.

I hate it, Bob's love it.

Actually my buddy was over lastnight and did the championship for me. He loves it. I still hate the stupid thing, the rain starts and he started smiling.. haha

The FGT is a blunt and effective instrument, like a mace or something, but I don't find it much fun to drive at all. If I want to drive something fast I drive my C9 or 787B. If I want to drive something stupid fast or crush the ai I use the X2010.

If the FGT is a mace the x2010 is a railgun.

I hate it, if the A-spec AI was as slow as B-spec AI I would might feel differently. After 19 laps of relentless, punting AI on my a$$ and I make a small mistake and I go from 1st to 10th......I'm not having fun anymore. It's the closest I have come to actually breaking a DS3. At least my Bob won it.

I've had it since quite early on in the game, it's my workhorse so I've been used to it for some time now. With open-top racers being quite different I found myself having to forget how I drive normally to adapt myself to it. I have to say though, I don't quite know how some people manage to get it to spin and wipeout... I've won countless events with it, my Bobs revere it and in A-spec I've only had a couple of mishaps which were down to driver-error and bad judgement.

Since its practically undrivable without assists, or at least months of practice, its basically uninspiring.

Becomes more of an obstacle or encumbrance to deal with.

No fun facter.

I loved it.

I was very worried about the FGT Championship after my experiences with this car on GT4.

But I won the championship on my first hit out, and just had to go back and gold the Cote d'Azur race.

Maybe it's because I bought a G27 for GT5. I'll have to go back to GT4 to see if I can drive it properly there now with the new wheel.

I don't love it. I don't hate it either.
Neutral for me.
Must have car since i love to collect racing cars, especialy open wheel. 👍
