I hope they will correct this. The cinematic replays are probably just a way of saving system resources to improve the graphics. I doubt they did it for style, but more for logistics.
By the other hand, we lose visual delight. (Instantly, my 40"TV, becomes a 32"...).I love the cinematic replay
It makes the car more ''bigger'' on the picture, less toy...( even it s the same size as on full screen)
Well the side is not reduced, it doesn't bother for me. It s like a movie on 21:9By the other hand, we lose visual delight. (Instantly, my 40"TV, becomes a 32"...).
Except the trees, the trees look damn gorgeous!on each of the beautifully rendered roads(the surrounding don't actually look all that great to me, for the most part)
They very much do.Except the trees, the trees look damn gorgeous!
All the racing broadcast on TV is 16:9 aspect ratio, GTS replays should be the same (just like all GTs before it) if they are going for realism. Letterbox movie style replays are probably less taxing on the system and improve the graphics.
Replays have better graphics settings compared to spectating in lobbies, that's why. This video got me to thinking; if we can have full 16:9 when spectating a live race, why can't we watch replays in 16:9 as well? I assumed the black bars in replays were there too save on power, but this appears to not be the case as the game has no problem rendering a full screen.
