The sad thing is they actually made a good menu for installing aero parts where you select what you want then install and pay for them all together. Why could this not be used for the parts shop? 2 divisions not talking to each other?

I think you're on to something here. Kaz has said that GT5 is like an operating system with different applications running on top of it (hence the constant loading times when just going through menus). Seems to be the case that the ones making the tuning shop app and the GT Auto app did not care what the other ones did.
