I love them, excellent handling for the near 1.5-ton weight. Totally different technique needed, great engine sound, good amount of oversteer and nice top speed (and less gearchanges:sly:. They also get some fast lap times:sick:

1.29.768- Monza
58.989- High Speed Ring
6.13.223- Nurburgring

Personally, one of my most enjoyable experiences in GT was the seasonal event with the NASCAR around the 'Ring:tup:

EDIT: This is not about the racing itself, just the cars and how they drive in GT5;)

Sorry but do not like them.

But I am not a fan of that style of racing.👎

I aviod them at the best of times.

Nascar in the game is fun, real life its boring as 🤬

4 hours of turning left, really?

Not necessarily my favourite cars to drive, but having said that they are just a whole different beast compared to the JGTC/DTM cars.

Also how can you resist an engine that massive revving to OVER 9000rpm!?

Enjoy them as long as the racing is clean (no boost); especially like racing at Laguna Seca with them

I think you should add a "more than I thought I would" option.

I can't really say I like them per say, but with proper tuning they did impress me somewhat.

If only polls were editable:indiff: (or does there exist a secret way?)

The cars are awesome. Why people only want to drive them on Daytona online, just stupid?

Yeah, it's annoying that you cannot find NASCAR rooms with a track other than Daytona.

Only time I got to use one was against LM Race cars, and it did a stunning job!

I love the NASCARs in the game, they have a floatyness about them that requires more than a skill of turning left to master. I wish the few NASCAR events in the game wern't ruined by AI. I'm on the last lap leading on Daytona, when all of the sudden 5 AI cars tailgate each other and fly past me like I was standing still. I wouldn't be angry about if it was drafting that passed me, but no, they just ram into each other, and act as if your not even on the road. The AI is the only thing holding back the NASCAR events from being enjoyable, instead of just a hassle till you can get gold in the event.
Also, stability management and traction control off on Nurburgring leads to some exhilarating racing.

Yup, seen every race for the last 7 years so I naturally enjoy them in GT5...just need restrictor plates at Daytona.

It was surprisingly fun to drive at the ring. I haven't driven one since though, and bob is freaking useless driving them, as are the other AI. watching them all powerslide them around Grand Valley was hilarious and infuriating at the same time. Stop planting your foot on the throttle mid corner while you're steeting you filbert!

Haven't bothered to drive one yet but I love watching Bob race them.
I quite like it on TV too.

I was pleasantly surprised by them, I was expecting them to handle awfully but they're not that bad. I'm still not a fan of them though, they're too big for me.

I love driving the stock cars. Racing them against the AI can be a bit of a hassle though, I don't think they're quite smart enough for oval racing yet.

don't like them.

golded the special events to get one to do the Nascar events, did the events and havn't touched it since..:yuck:

I think they drive pretty good, I drove the Schleife in just over 6 minutes with my Jimmy Johnson #48, something I would not have believed if I haven't done it myself! 👍

I closely voted YES. But they aren´t as much fun to drive as in real life. Especially on ovals they feel to easy to handle (on road tracks they are ok).

Once I finished the Nascar races I never even thought of taking them out of the garage again.

Any and all cars welcome really. I like the Stock Cars, but I don't like NASCAR. I drive them on road courses. However, I would trade them for ALMS in a heartbeat.

I dislike them. I always feel like they are going very slow, even when they are not. Plus they aren't the most attractive of beasts...

Very fun to drive and the engine sound is awesome.

There's only one thing I don't get, their handling on ovals' turns, it's pretty weird: the front wheels going left-right left-right tight-loose tight-loose, it's not a pleasure driving them like that.

Btw if anyone has a good setup to solve this issue... :)

You know why?? Because if you drive clean behind someone while going 210-230 for 25+ laps it is a challenge especially learning to bump draft and work together with friends or foes to move to the top of the pack without wrecking is way more difficult than you think without improperly bumping people and ruining races. But I will admit after a few hours that track will drive your eyes out of the sockets

You need to customize / personalize your suspension and downforce!!! Also try to tap your brakes going in and going out of the corners!!
