still play with ds3?

I play online everyday with the DS3's I bought a couple of years ago along with my PS3. It's funny because in one DS3 the L3 broke because I wasnt trying to steer hard enough in the 1200 '66 to flip it over, so I broke it :( :lol: I have one left, which appears to have a little problem with the L2 button :indiff:

Edit: I really want to get a wheel at some point
 
Took a while to get used to the wheel, but after getting some tips and encouragement on here that there is more of a learning curve than you expect, there is no going back to the ds3. Still wish I could go lock to lock in half a second like you can on ds3 sometimes, but overall the wheel makes my gt5ing much more enjoyable.
 
I play everyday and i use the ds3 and wheel depending what race it is. I am a lot faster with the wheel if i am driving fast cars as the x2010 but in tracks with sharp turns like Eiger with the Alfa on special Events i am half a second faster with ds3. Perhaps i am not use to the wheel and will aprove but i like to shift between them.

First on DS3.
Then on DFGT Wheel.
Now back on ds 3 .

Couse with the DFGT i cant drift, recover from a spin starting to happen, use a little handbrake as correction... Just go and race the racing line (with the race line off :D) like a bob :p. And then one mistake i would fix with ease on DS3 and i'm out of the race Spinning all over the place :).
 
I use a ds3 when my 10 month old daughter is awake or play skyrim. I use my fanatec wheel and stand when she is away or asleep. I never use the racing line. I use cockpit view with my wheel and overhead view with the ds3. I love using the h shifter and paddle shifter if I am in a Lambo or Ferrari.
 
Still playing with the same wheel I've had for three years now. My days with the controller ended when GT5P was released.
 
I still play every day. I play online as offline is SO BORING. I run in rooms with simulator settings (no aids, tire wear and fuel consumption on, real grip, weak slipstream, and full damage).

I use the DS3 as I am paralyzed from the waist down. L2 is my brake and R2 is my gas. In order for me to use a wheel I would need hand controls and that is more expensive than a G27. It cost $1200 to put controls on my car (can you say rip off!?!).

GT5 is what YOU make of it. It can be close to a sim or a full on arcade game. It is up to you to set rooms up and actually drive correctly. In my eyes, no other console racing game comes close to GT5, but that's my opinion.
 
Is there a difference between a sixaxis and a ds3 lol?
Wish i had a wheel damn it.
If only my PSes wasn't broking every 18 months.
 
I use both, depends on how long I intend to play. Missing option in your poll. GT5 is perfectly drivable and quite precise with the DS3. One of PD's greatest achievements.
 
Play everyday on a sixaxis since 1st GT, got G25 for crimbo and am trying to get used to it and find a good combo for the settings for FFB etc.
