Well I liked the GT mode setup more in 4 and I do miss a few tracks ... but I enjoy having more cars on the track, cockpits, and the driving itself more in 5.
Think I'm going to have to go with 5

GT5 has better graphics, better physics, better cars, more cars on track and an online mode. It blows my mind that anyone could consider GT4 a more enjoyable game.

GT5 would've been the better game if they both came out at the same time, but they didn't. Therefore I voted for GT4 as it was the best console racer by far when it came out. Nowadays it's much more debatable. Also enjoyed GT4 more I think.

I personaly like GT5 but there are still things i like about GT4 that should have been in GT5. Still both are great games!

As far as a game is concerned, I just think GT4 is better simply because it had plenty of things for the player to do.

When I start GT5, I just can't find anything to do a lot of the time. I honestly feel like I spend more time buying cars and going through menus than actually playing the game. Sure, it has online, but I rarely bother with it since I often have a hard time getting a race I want. Why GT5P's online system was scrapped, I'll never know. I would enjoy GT5 more massively if it's single player was improved or the matchmaking system in Prolouge was brought back.

4 probably lasts longer than 5 IMO and would get my vote, but unfortunately it doesn't.

Because, GT1.

The only GT game which can provide a challenge consistently.

Personally I like GT4 because it has more tracks and more brands of aftermarket parts which all effect your cars performance in different ways. And you can't forget that there is more license tests, more driving missions and IMO better BGM sound effects, specifically this unforgettable one (don't worry I've been there too ):



Plus I think GT4 does have an online mode but requires a wired connection or something like that.

GT5 online - this is all you need now.
