I've asked around and nobody answered, I searched, nothing came up.

How do we make Polls? I've gone nuts! I can't find any info on how to create them in your thread! :boggled:

You didn't try looking directly above your opening post in a thread? You know, the spot that says "Thread Tools" right above (and slightly to the left) of the date of your post?

;)

You can select "Add a Poll to This Thread" from the "Thread Tools" menu in the top right of the top red bar of a thread, or you can select the "Post a Poll..." option near the bottom of the new thread composition page.

To avoid creating another thread, how to you remove or change a poll ?

Only a Super Moderator or Administrator can change/remove a poll.

The thread starter can't edit; just tried that.

I cannot vote in a poll. Is there a requirement for a certain number of posts?

You would likely need to have your first post approved already, although I am not certain of that. Is the poll still open? Polls can be set by their creator to close after a certain elapsed time.

Duke,

I thought I looked after my first post above was approved and saw that I still could not vote. [shrug] Maybe after my second post? In any case, I can cast a vote now. So, definitely after at least the first post is approved.

Thank you very much for your time!

sticky side down,
Drew

I believe posts in the feedback section don't count towards the "1 vote" restrictions like PMing and voting in threads so it has to be elsewhere.

No, the posts here count, but you can post in the Site Feedback forum without having completed account activation.
