used the z06... easy blitz!

the fiat can do it too... especially on the slower tracks :)
 
The fastest car to use is the Toyota GT-One Road Car.

Use this to blaze through the PD Cup. Next best would have to be the Viper Concept, I think.

For fun and an easy win I like the Mazda RX-8.

I assume you mean T2 tires. T1's are Simulation tires.

The PD Cup is a pretty weird race. If you use the NSX Type S Zero, you will win very easily on T2's just because you don't have to pit the entire race, but for some reason the AI NSX Type S Zero can easily out-accelerate you. The AI RX-7's and Z Concept can even out-accelerate you.

I don't like winning just on pit strategy. When the Corvette Z06 or Corvette Grand Sport are in that race, they pit every 2 laps. The NSX and Camaro pit every 5. The RX-7's and Z Concept pit every 6. I think the RX-8 usually ends up having the best time because he only pits on lap 7 and 14.

The only way to make the race very interesting is to use tires you have to pit a lot on. I used Normal tires on the Viper Concept, which I think left me pitting every 4 laps, but it was still way too easy. I wanted to win the PD Cup on day 49 without spending any money, though, and the Vanquish is pretty hard to control on Normal tires.

I can tell you that reason... Amazingly, in a race meant for unmodified cars only, the majority of AI cars have increased Power Multipliers (the instant hybrid-making setting).

Yet another area the game cheats in...

XPLOSV - AI is just an abbreviation, which saves us writing "the cars used by the PS2". Of course they DO actually have AI to an extent, otherwise they wouldn't be able to drive around a track. Well, most of them manage that at least...
 
I used my Nissan (Nismo?) 400R with medium softs (T-6?) I pitted 3 times a race and still beat the Z concept by 50 seconds or more. Easily defeated the AI and got my F094/S,
