Somewhere.
That championship used to be somewhat of a challenge in GT3... The fact you needed completely stock (well, save for the tires) cars made it pretty damned fun.

I was pretty bummed out when I saw you could enter pretty much anything as long as it had sports tires. The opposition isn't opposing much, I'm afraid. None of the cars have any relation whatsoever to each others, I'm doing it as we speak and there's an S2000 and a 206cc in the field. I've been doing this with my softly tuned NSX-R proto (S3 tires, semi race suspension, about 340hp) and I've won by over 40 seconds on all 4 tracks so far. The prize car doesn't seem all too attractive, either. It's neither really fast, or really useful, unlike GT3's prize car(s).

Why is that championship located in Extreme Hall is pretty much what I'm wondering... GT WorldChampionship was much, much harder than that, and it's in Pro Hall.

The F1 series was also a big disappointment. There were plenty of things wrong with it in my opinion.

1 Extremely easy on A-spec. In GT3's F1 series, they gave a way better fight.
2 Extremely easy on B-spec. All you have to do is qualify first, turn on overtake and set it at four... boom, victory
3 Way too long.. They should have cut some races down by 10 laps or so

But back to the topic at hand, yes, the PDC was also way easier than it was in GT3 👎

i hate to admit the license test was easier this time around too, or maybe im just getting better? but i have yet to try the PD race
punkrock you stink!

lol gt3 was easy, gt4 is even easy-er. the only thing i dont llike is its so freaking long, it should be in endurance hall, plus i realy want the c9, but the races are boring :yuck:

Nice introduction... That's a way to make everyone forget your past behavior.

F1 is easier in GT4? How is that possible? In GT3 after 4 laps I was 5 seconds per lap faster than the AI in my first race without ever having driven an F1 car before!

F1 in gt3 was simple if you could set the car up reasonably for each track. I finished every race over 1 lap ahead of the rest of the field apart from laguna as I kept spinning it at the corkscrew as i'm not a particularly good driver. I really hope GT4 f1 is a bit more challenging.

I have the pal version of gt3 so it could just be the difference between the ntsc and pal f1 cars that got a bit mixed up in the conversion but I don't know

hmm which f1 car did you use in the gt3 races, i had the slower but more stable car (was an 002) and most races were hard. Some i had no chance and the 001's just outpaced me.
I must say that for once the test track was fun (had to draft just to stay with the 001's, i won by a nose-cone aswell :D )

Yes. The PD Cup was my favourite series and foundation for the King pf the Street series (latterly run by daan).

Now it sucks. There's nothing to set it apart from any other series.

How do you know he smells? PR is not sitting next to you and I'm pretty sure he showers often.

Any ways that series isn't that bad, sure its a little easy , but it's not that bad.

I never even altered the setup of the F1 cars in GT3, I just drove them and was right away 5 seconds per lap faster than the computers. I'm not *disappointed* about the GT4 F1 championship being easy because I never expected it to be - I think with the gaming industry technology as it is now, it is just impossible to make an AI that can competitively drive a 800 horsepower machine close to the limit.

As for the PD cup, that *is* disappointing. Granted I never really drove it much, but I always liked the idea of trying out cars in it (I never really got round to it).

cant you go in to the series with out any mods? maybe that might make it more challenging?

i havent tried it yet, but i hope i wont be dissappointed in taking a stock car into this series.
