Probably a stretch but given how the majority of cars are groups (except the racing kart), could the TBA car be group C?

Agreed, BUT I like the thinking behind this. I would love races for "sub-categories" if you will, like the given example of Group C. This would also breathe much life into cars from the N and X categories.

The first two seasons won't count for anything, right? Or is there gonna be a final score with points from the three seasons? Not that I'm expecting to win anything, but would be interesting to see a longer competition.

For Nation's Cup La Sarthe is listed as a 15 minute race. But the article references it as a 24 minute race. So what's going on here?

It is a longer race only for the Top 24 Superstars race

If you pull of an average race of 1500 pts, you'll make top 10 Canada. Looks like I still have a long way to go, only averaging 1100 atm. Sitting down in 20th last round.
