are you kidding...
to stay sideways that long from turn 3 to 4 on TM you'd have to come out of turn 3 at like 150mph and powerslide through... (well, I might be exxagerating this a bit

)
just doesnt seem possible to me, personally, i'd throw the tail out the the left inbetween them rather than attempt carrying a single drift that far. But I challenge anyone to prove me wrong on this assumption.
I'd consider the first two rights of midfield, or the first two lefts of GVE-reverse about the farthest you could link 2 similar turns while maintaining a respectable amount of angle. Of course this will depend on the width of the track.
you know d3p0, its quotes of yours like this one that really make me wonder about what you consider good drifting... you like to set some very high standards with your words and generally disagree with other's opinions. (not saying this is wrong or a negative trait of yours, just an observation I made over the last little while)
it makes me a bit curious to see what you pull together for the GTPC you're involved in. Theres definitely 1 spot where a *really* long link as you're describing could be attempted, maybe 2. And another 2 or so spots for some shorter ones So I look forward to your entry and hope that its not a total dissapointment in this regard.
now, back on topic:
like others have said, there's no reason that all the kinks and turns of TM cannot be drifted. I'm not saying I've done it all in one go-around in GT4, but theres no reason why someone shouldnt be able to.
