I'm editing this since being contacted by Thomas. I'll update if it turns out to be fraud. But so far so good.

Thanks for the super fast response Thomas.

Maybe Paypal suspected something already and put your account on hold?
Besides, are you sure it's a hacked site and not your computer being infected by a virus like spyware or keyloggers? Might want to check that too just in case.

Yeah got in touch with paypal, I am positive its not my PC. Behind a corporate Barracuda and two web filters. Its like FortKnox. I'm wondering if Fanatec's site was hacked with a keylogger. Seems OK, paypal said that nothing has gone through. Its fanatec's site that says, "order processing". So hopefully they see that the billing and shipping addresses are 3000 miles apart.

I hope so. It sure sucks and is extra stress again, and with the holidays coming up you don't want money trouble or stress. Well, at least I don't.
Hope they'll respond soon or Thomas reeds this, cause if it's an issue with the site it needs to be fixed soon.

Someone has stolen my paypal information and ordered a CSR Elite wheel being delivered to California under the name of Anthony Marban. The payment information states my paypal information! But the delivery address is 3000 miles away in California.

Check your statements and Fanatec order sheets ASAP to make sure you're not the victim of fraud or someone hacking the Fanatec site and stealing information.

Oh man, I am sorry to hear that, Those ppl should burn in hell!!

This kinda thing pisses me off so much... garrrrrr

please get those ppl out n jail them!

Our website has not been hacked and you do not enter your paypal log in on our site as you are beeing directed to Paypal. We never see your log in details.

But nevertheless, we are looking into this.

Thank you Thomas, my apologies if this is nothing to do with your website. I have shopped there four times before and never had a problem. Stupid thieves always find a way to steal. Hopefully it turns out to be just a paperwork or human mistake in the order department.

thanks

Going around the net accusing individuals of stealing from you is not something the community likes. You can change the title of your threads all you like. Patience is a virtue and something every young man should learn!

Mayman, you need to always check whether the websites you pay on have SSL certificates (the address should start with https) also the URL bar should be turning green or another color and if you click next to "https" you should be able to get the certificate detales.

If you get all the above then you are safe.

As per PayPal then no one has it on the company page as the link redirects you to PayPal page customized for your company (at this stage you should be able to see the https instead of just http).

Thomas, how come you went blue, you were red from what I remember.

And yes, use a decent antivirus. I'm a network security specialist so PM me if you need help.

Everyone please edit your posts to omit the persons name. Seems to be a paypal problem, not a Fanatec issue or that individual.

Thanks
