MR2 Turbo

I'm jealous. SW20 on the ring. I'd love to take mine there. Wrong side of the world sadly.

EDIT:Righto, is that a once off payment? Here is SA you can get anything up to 6 characters for a yearly payment of $200 something, and 7 characters for $255 I think. I wouldn't mind making a larger once off payment but on top of rego a yearly payment is hard to afford. We can get "personalised" plates but I don't like the look of them, at $180 per year though I might go with that or even premium.

www.ezyplates.sa.gov.au has all the information about custom plates here.

Wow... I'm surprised at how different the options are between each states. Sounds quite dear over there. Here you only have to pay once, and you can own those plates for the rest of your life without additional payments. I think I payed something like $550 for the custom series acrylic plates... but aluminium's are cheaper, and other style plates can be a lot cheaper. The black slimlines on my 7th gen Celica were $150, and I reckon they looked quite good.

Cool Accord, btw. :)

Thanks :) Yeah I heard SA and NSW are the worst ripoffs here, and we don't even get a real good choice. I'd be more than happy to pay $550+ once off. The "personalised" plates are $180 once off and they have a decent colour range, the only restriction is it has to be 1 letter and 5 numbers, or 5 letters then one number or in between, with the ugly government logo dividing the letters and numbers which I don't like. It also doesn't say SA anywhere on these ones, it would be good to have them down the side like yours or even at the top.

I would have also liked an SA - Gateway to the Outback plate, especially living in a semi-outback area, but apparently these and any other specialty plates of the type are discontinued. I guess other than that the range isn't too bad, I guess I could go with the premium type too, they look alright.

After our last autocross, one of my friends did a night shoot of the MR2. Another friend decided he would like to be an import model.

I plan on picking up a '86 Mustang GT with a built 5.0 (302) for $4800 obo. A steal if I might add.

Other than that I'm carless at the moment. The only other thing I really work on though is our truck. SO much money has gone in that thing (3 motors, 3 entire rebuilds, roll bars, 9 rims, spotlights etc). Thing gets maybe 3 miles a gallon. Trying to get it back up to 12 is a pain in the but though. With all the stuff we done to the Windsor that's in it now will never happen though.

Haha that would be sweet XD. As far as the truck we've left a '69 Stingray and '04 Mustang GT with a race chip in the dust XD.

Daily driver is a CR-V.. But my baby is my 1992 Z28 25th Anniversary Edition (it has the 5.7 TPI). It needs some restoring though. Old pics shown.

The car i drive being in Australia is a ford falcon BA mark II SR lol

Cool, I used to own a 99 civic but a 4 door, I think it rode better than the 2002 civic coupe I replaced it with. Suspension on 99's were still double wish-bone front and rear, 2001's had the basic strut front suspension. Currently it's a 06 CRV for winter and a new Taffetta white 2011 Accord coupe for the summer. Love Hondas... Even my weed whacker is a Honda :)

That's a nice Camaro Bobby-Vegas, Hold onto it :)

Definitely worthy of some kind of award JK. No our minivans are more boring than that (then again they still are kind of easy to drift, don't ask me how I know)

It's dirty (daily driver), and it's in the garage, but here are some pics for now. I'll probably post better ones once I get it washed this week. :)

Done :)

Trailing arm in the rear, not double wishbone.

Whoops :guilty: didn't earlier accords (late 80's) and early 90's civics use double wishbones in rear the suspension? They were advertised that way.
