Forgot to bring my DSLR for transformation photos... But restored my headlights and gave it a nice wax. :D

Didn't have enough time to buff the car, but it WILL HAPPEN!

Wallet =/= driver talent

Anyone can drive a fast car fast, only done can drive slow cars fast. Take your slow car to the track, you'll learn the layout better and be faster than the guy who brings a fast car right away; by the time you have a faster car (if that happens), you'll be much faster...

;)

Yes, that is true.

But the problem, was that it has a event made by Renault and the guys on the Megane probably had a formation by renault and they were FAST. I mean, crazy fast..
I took a ride with one, on a Renault Clio RS, and on the first hard braking, I nearly hit the head on the windshield :P

But, I totally agree with you. It takes a good driver to drive a slow car fast.

For that matter, you can jog around the track predicting your line.
Or go slow in a fast car and learn it in 6 laps.
Or use a slow car and learn it in 6 laps.

You're basically saying the person who has more experience on a specific track will be faster than another who has no experience in said track.

So, in other words, no ****.

The cars were all parked on the street in a row so I thought I'd take a few photos. None are mine, they all belong to my parents, but I get to drive both the Fit and the Civic Si extensively. The FR-S I can only drive with my dad and he'll object if I rev it over 4000 or go more that 5 mph over the speed limit :indiff:. But still, awesome car. And the Si is really nice, too.

The photos were taken on my phone so they're unbelievably awful, apologies.

Poor you in the FR-S. There's a torque drop right at 4K RPMs too and 5 miles over? Srsly?

Speaking of JDM I mean Keep it as Close to the japanese market as possible. Sure it's a LHD and not from Japan eventhough it was build in Suzuka, but what I mean I don't Rice it and put strange aftermarket parts on it, except OEM Parts and official Honda tuner parts such as Mugen and Spoon.

I don't think I've ever posted in this thread before. I'll have to search my archives for some of my past cars and put up a few older shots. I have a rather lengthy commute so I'm currently driving a 2010 Honda Fit. (Commuting Adventures in the World's Slowest Car). If you can avoid traffic and drive sedately, you can manage over 40 mpg, a good deal better than the EPA estimates. When you cover 100 miles round trip daily, you start to think about these things, as well as your environmental footprint. The FR-S is my weekend sanctuary.

The first three were taken a few miles from my house (wearing new shoes). The last three were from NJMSP during an HPDE track day back in the late spring.
