My mom had a Celica just like that before I was born!

It's funny how often I hear this! Talking to a friend of mine who has an 85 Celica, it happens to him all the time as well. So many people owned a Celica at some point, makes you wonder where they all went.

Any photos of it? I'd like to see it!

Right leg, it was jammed between the car and my bike. My new one is taking some time to get used to, but I'm getting up and about more and more everyday:tup:

FPV finished up in 2012, but they're going back to the Tickford name and doing Mustang and Ranger models. Hopefully it'll add a bit to the value of mine in the future, it's been garaged for most of the last 5 years due to me being unable to drive it (it's manual) so it's relatively low kms (just over 50k).

Sorry to hear, but glad you're ok! I've always wanted to get a bike (been meaning to get my motorcycle license anyways, whether I get a bike or not), but my biggest fear is other drivers, especially with more and more distractions these days.

Thanks mate, yeah I'm fine, I've seen so many people way worse off than me through the course of rehab, kinda puts things in perspective, but I would never trade my near on 40 years of motorcycling for anything, such good times. I'm still looking into getting another one much to my wife's displeasure but like you, other people reckless behavior is weighing on my mind (also my wife's displeasure).

Final piece of the puzzle arrived!

These tires are amazing, but of course on the 5 mile road of just twisties I got stuck behind a tanker truck.

Got a few pieces of puzzle for me too, and a "substitute" piece of puzzle.

That being my front bumper:

Well yeah, but for $100 and it came with foggies, something i've been needing since i got it since its almost always foggy in the morning where i live. So i couldnt turn it down. Got a few chips and scratches but... foggies. Will replace it in the future anyway, just needed to be able to drive at 6am first

As for actual pieces:

VZ Clubsport rear. Looks like atm I got ran up the 🤬 and have a replacement bumper, but thats because i havent put these on yet:

VZ Clubsport Sideskirts.

Now again, you're probably wondering "🤬 SP3EDST3R I THOUGHT YOU GETTING SILVER INSTEAD OF WHITE WAS BAD, BUT BLACK!? COME ON!!!"

But this time, this is exactly what I want going to end up 2-toning my car, eventually, probably next year once my wallet stops begging for mercy. I have other priorities now other than my car to focus on.

Anyone know how to replace sideskirts on a VZ? I looked online but could only find replacements for other cars so not sure if its a universal sort of thing unlike the front and rear bumper.
