GT3 got very boring to play cos the challenge disappeared so quickly, once you got a car good enough for the amateur league money became no problem, any car was yours and races were won every time.

I want GT4 to be hard, I don't want to have a 100% win ratio after completing, that's boring.

Tighter restrictions on car tuning (like in GT2, but tighter) for races is a must.

Thoes two pics are from an FMV sequence, the pit crews and animated crows should be in the final game, they wont look quite as good as thoes, although thes pics don't look a sharp as the video clip was.

would u stand that close ifa rally car was comin round the corner?! dirt and rocks'll fly up from the road! that would also be a cool in game feature as well as slight body damage (which we wont get ) and black marks on the tarmac (which we wont get ) when we peel off the line with a 500hp rx-7

i think its the little details that count like all of the things ive mentioned and hopefully they will be integrated into gt5 so if anyone from polyphony is reading this....PULLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZ

Oh I forgot you work for PD right so you know if that's FMV? What ever, you don't know if that's FMV or not, we will have to wait and see. I saw the new trailer and the animated crowds being programmed on a pc and they looked just like the ones in motion, I don't believe any of that is FMV. I don't for sure and you don't know.

Here are some side notes

Its IN GAME Look at the ground texture here^^^ You can see a slight blur in it (common amoung video games

In this pic here, you can see a slight jag in the Orange section of the car (bottom)

Ground texture....Also , the shadow dosent line up right in this shot..The car shadow is in the back, The pit crew is to the right of them.....See?


If that is a FMV what is it apart of, it would be too early for a intro.

I have seen a video clip with in game graphics and that sequence and there is a big difference in quality, that sequence is better than any in game graphics on any console which the PS2 is not capable of, also the doors and bonnets opening will not be in GT4 as there will not be any need for that to hapen so it would be a wast of time and effort to include it, if you want to go down the why don't you post proof, my proof is the video that it's from and if you can't tell the difference then go for an eye test, seriousely cos there is a large difference between in game graphics used today and what cn be achieved in FMV.

And as for your little comments with each pic the first one you say look at the ground texture, WTF are you on, honestly, PD arn't goin to speen hour and hours making the ground spot on when you it's not in focus properly in the video. The second pic you say there is a jagged line on the car, well guess what thats a picture, look at the video on a DVD from a mag and it looks fine. And in the third pic you say look at the shadows, well if that was in game the shadows would all be the same angles as it would be handled by the graphics engine. Have you even seen the video by the way? And if you want to start a flame war with me, you will be shown up more than you have been already.

Are you on somthing, watch the ****ing video and it's blatantly obviouse, I've done work with people who do CGI and that is not in game graphics, I hav'nt seen 1 bit of proof from you about this yet and as for GT3 having F1 cars yea I knew as soon as the rumors started and there was a pic of a sillhouete of one from a bonus screen on a Japanese site, you need to screw your head on, I don't want to start flaming but don't say I don't know cos I been throug school, college, and a few jobs and I bet I know a **** load about computers and computer renderd graphics than you.

I don't care if you worked with CGI or what ever, I have seen the vid in motion and yes it looks freaken amazing but it really doesn't look all that better the the regular gt4 we are seeing now. Look at the GT40, the car model reallt isn't all that detail compared to the gt40 in this vid, look http://www.virtualdreams.fr/jeux/granturismo4/gt4-2.mpg nothing new but it looks the same. Look at the animated crowds being programmed in the new trailer and you see they look the same as the ones seen in motion. If it's FMV and PD says it I'll believe it, but no game sites have said the scenes were FMV, have they? You need to chill. We will see when the game comes out, simple as that and until then I will still say that's ingame graphics, agree or disagree I don't give a damn and a guy I know who's good in animations said that's not FMV and it's ingame and anwser this for me since you think you know everything, are the enviroments in gt4 photo fixed or are they made by PD?

The backgrounds are the foregrounds arn't, they are all modelled in polygons (the grandstands, pit garages etc) and if your knowkledgable friend thinks that then he's wrong, and if you have seen the video and can't see any difference go and get an eye test. Animated pit crews and crowds will be in but they arn't in yet, or at least they hav'nt been shown to anyone yet, I would love to see some proof from you that thoes are all in game cos I've yet to see a game on any console look as good as the FMV sequence did, one last thing did you download the video or watch it on DVD cos if you downloaded it then I can't say for sure but none of the video's I've downloaded are anywhere near as good as the DVD video's that come with mgs.

I downloaded it, look I don't want to be enemies over this little stuff because it ain't really that serious, all I know is gt4 will be the best looking game(not just for racer but for any genre) coming out, the realims in the graphics is crazy. We will have to find out as days go by, until thenwe can't say it's ingame or FMV. It looked good no line but it wasn't like it was impossible to do, have you read the gamespot impression of gt4, PD said they haven't even reached the ps2's limits, there can be more things to add but I could be wrong or right but that pit crew scene did not look FMV.
