GT5 has not left my machine since I picked it up at a midnight release.If work and real life didn't get in the way my machine probably wouldn't have been turned off since then too :lol: .
 
Sorry abit off-topic here..

But it seems like alot of you just leave your disc in the PS3 when you turn it off?
Is this good for the PS3's drive?
 
Me too , science the day it came out it hasn´t leaved my ps3 , in fact I don´t know why I´m still paying cable ! havenpt watched it science nov :)

Like the other guy mentioned, this car can be bought for something like $500,000 cr. in the Premium dealership. It does have less hp than most cars, but once you break it in it comes to around 390hp, which is fine for me because I often race online at 404hp. I also came in 2nd and 4th using this car on the High Speed Ring against 502hp cars, so take from that what you will. On Nordschleife I wouldn't fear a 500hp car for one second with my Cusco unless I knew the driver was also very skilled.
 
I'm guilty! Ever since I got GT5 thats all I've been playing. I picked up Ghost of Sparta though for the psp, yesterday, just something to get me by while B-spec is running.
 
I am. And I think it's going to be like this for at least a whole year. Regularly checking UCD and pick up a few cars I still don't have is totally addicting.
 
Sama here, haven't played anything else since I got GT5, but then again, when I get a new game, I rarely go back to my old ones.
 
My sisters boyfriend did get me NFS Hot Pursuit for xmas which admittedly is a fun and exciting game. At any other time I would be playing the hell out of it. But when it comes down to it I haven't touched that game in like 3 weeks. GT5, any time I have time.

Absolutely. It hasn't been out of my PS3 since release day :)

very odd for me, I have Avatar directors cut and Inception Blu-rays from Christmas sitting next to my PS3 unopened.......If I have some free time to watch them I end up playing GT5 instead ;)

If i was gonna take my GT5 disc out then it would be for Inception, its a cracking film.

On topic, my 2006 Fat 60gb PS3 has been on for 57 days and counting...... Im not worried by a YLOD, im more worried that the disc will have warped by the time i want to remove it!!
 
F1 2010 is great!

I actually took a break from GT5 today to try and start my 04 350z that has been in the garage since I moved to Canada 2 years ago (insurance is too high here)...

and like poking a hungry lion with a stick in the eye while it was sleeping, she fired right up!

Took her for a spin with her 07 California tags LOL... Covered in dust, add 1 mile to her 13k ... yeah its pretty much new :/

At least I'm moving back next week!

It`s all i have played since i got it. My wife didn`t believe me when i talked all about GT5.... she never experienced GT4 :scared:. Now she loathes it and thinks i like playing GT5 more than i like her :nervous: I run B-spec at nights and flick over to check his progress/start a race during TV ad`s,with the laser beams of death from my wifes eyes piercing the night air every time i flick to GT5 :nervous:

We got married while I was grinding through GT4.

No marriage deserves that.

I limit myself to about one hour at a stretch to keep our marriage intact. For that reason alone, I don't think I'll get to 100% (or near 100% verdammit Mission glitches!) as quickly as I did in GT4 or GT3.

The last game that sucked me in this badly was Fallout3. Hours of walking... walking... walking... walking... I sense a pattern here...
 
got it for xmas.. now about 90% done with the game.. sigh I need to get used to being at college again and stop playing..
 
Guilty. Since I'm 'one with the unemployed' at the moment :lol: I'm spending about 10hrs/day on GT5, and nothing else.... Well, also surfing around here on GTP, of course :D

Damn you PD!! You are immediately responsible for an even FURTHER delay of my re-employment! :lol: :lol:

GT5P and GT5 are the only games I own on my PS3. I think my PS3 stayed in its box for at least a year before GT5 eventually got released. I'm really not that into playing video games anymore but I love driving and that's why I play GT5.
 
This sounds all too familiar :D

Since GT5 was released I have not played another game. Even though I have some PSN demos to try, as well as Lego Indiana Jones 2, Uncharted 2 and Just Cause 2 all still waiting to be played.

Long may it continue, as I fear if I stop playing GT5 then I'll struggle to pick it up again.
 
I bought COD black ops and Assassins Creed Brother hood ( I really adored AC2) just before GT5 came out.

It was after the latest delay was announced so I thought I had some time before GT5.

Now they are practicaly untouched.
My girlfriend is laughing at me for spending that much money on games to sit on the shelve:indiff:
 
Guilty as charged... however I only have about an hour or so to play each day, maybe a bit more in the weekend. Doesn't leave a lot of room for other games :)
 
I havent watched my normal TV programs, used my PCs or done anything remotely useful since I got a PS3 and GT5 for xmas.

No no I tell a lie, Im building a new wheel stand in my workshop

Bought the game the day after release and it arrived the next day. I have been (pretty much) playing every day since.

I was given a game for my Birthday (in December) and I have so far played it once (Fable III on the 360). I was given another game for Christmas (NFS: HP - 360) and have played that once as well. The rest of my time (when playing) is GT5. Being retired (early!) I have plenty of gaming time and have been doing Seasonals on a number of accounts!! Still only doing the majority of my normal racing on one account (aiming for all cars though with my less than sterling ability the set of X2010's may be optimistic) though being A spec Lv 32 I don't see much progress nowadays (it is a little off-putting!).

I think I spend more time getting the daily free items onto each account, juggling cars (so to speak) and doing Seasonals than I do on my main save!

Now if I could just get a Japanese version of the game (to expand my GT collection)...

The only time I get a chance to post on here and read the news is when Bob's driving!
 
My first post... though been lurking the site since October ^_^

Played and finished GT4 on PS2... purposely bought my PS3 the same day GT5 was released... didn't removed the game up until xmas when my friend gave me an NBA2k11, played some hoops for a day or 2 then in goes my GT5 again upto today...
 
Ive even given up Assasins Creed Brotherhood for this. My file system did corrupt however so I had to start GT5 again. Id Probably be getting up to level 40 now. I also lost all my save games for everything else!
 
Bought PS3 for this reason!!! i also have Pro evolution soccer but i just saw how it is and then GT5 again. laaaaaater i ll play some other games i want
