Hi all,
As for the title says post your best time for this event to those who only got the Gold.
The reason I made this thread is because it is one of the most difficult challenges in the GT5.
My best time was: 2.57.003
I'm using Logitech G25 steering wheel and here's my settings for this race.
Gear: Manual
Traction Control: 6
Driving Line: Off
Skid Recovery: On
Active Steering: Off
ABS: 3
Here's a pic of when I reached the finish line in 2.57.003:
When I overtook the first car
When I reached the finish line in first place
I've heard there are many complains about the Lotus handling horribly on this event and finds it odd since the car is light and should be one of the best handling car in the world.
Well let me explain it is one of the best handling light weight car in the world (even in the GT5) which requires lots of skills and driving involvement to get the best lap time out of it.
BUT let me explain why the car handles so horribly on this GT5 Top Gear Special Event which many people ignores to see. Just look at the tires people, on this event the car uses the worst tires in the game Comfort: Hard so its not that the car handles badly in GT5, its the tires and of course it's gonna skid all over the places if you run at too high speed into a corner and doesn't brake properly.
