yeah, i wasn't hurt too badly in the accident.

i walked away, but i screwed my right knee up something fierce on the metal panel below the instrument panel. it took 6 months for my knee to work right again.

on a positive note, i got out of school for that day.:)

First of all Cobraboy get your frigging facts straight and laid out in g*dd*mn eyes

Cant u see that there arent n e more pics from www.wreckedexotics.com and who gives a f@@k if a post is too lon or 2 short, why da hell should u care, i mean this is your first time viewing the thread, and by the way some people may not want to go to other sites to view cars so they come here, where others help bring the site to them. I bet if the wrecked exotics logo werent there u wouldnt bring about all this hue and cry, but jus cos u saw the logo u decided to post some s**t.

Why da hell do we have an Imports page if we could all b****y well go to the original car sites, if evry 1 was like u there would be no cars on da import page.

And cant u understand that by putting alll these cars on one site whether imports or my thread etc it makes a whole lot easier than viewing so many independant websites.

Thats about it so next time think b4 u post, and thx for calling me an idiot.

"Sorry, I can't respond to your post, because I can't make any sense of it."

the guy who had this crash was cornering too fast and lost it down an embankment rolling into a wooden fence, the little flash of orange in the door area is a fence post, which travelled through the door skin into the passenger compartment, if the guy had been any taller, (i used to have an mr2 and i am six foot, that guy must have been about 5 foot!) and had the seat any further back on its rails, it would have gone straight through the poor guys rib cage!:scared:

I wish i had a picture of this to show but the site(www.snopes.com) didnt have any, but u all have just gotta read this

The Arizona Highway Patrol were mystified when they came upon a pile of smoldering wreckage embedded in the side of a cliff rising above the road at the apex of a curve. The metal debris resembled the site of an airplane crash, but it turned out to be the vaporized remains of an automobile. The make of the vehicle was unidentifiable at the scene.

The folks in the lab finally figured out what it was, and pieced together the events that led up to its demise.

It seems that a former Air Force sergeant had somehow got hold of a JATO (Jet Assisted Take-Off) unit. JATO units are solid fuel rockets used to give heavy military transport airplanes an extra push for take-off from short airfields.

Dried desert lakebeds are the location of choice for breaking the world ground vehicle speed record. The sergeant took the JATO unit into the Arizona desert and found a long, straight stretch of road. He attached the JATO unit to his car, jumped in, accelerated to a high speed, and fired off the rocket. The facts, as best as could be determined, are as follows:

The operator was driving a 1967 Chevy Impala. He ignited the JATO unit approximately 3.9 miles from the crash site. This was established by the location of a prominently scorched and melted strip of asphalt. The vehicle quickly reached a speed of between 250 and 300 mph and continued at that speed, under full power, for an additional 20-25 seconds. The soon-to-be pilot experienced G-forces usually reserved for dog-fighting F-14 jocks under full afterburners.

The Chevy remained on the straight highway for approximately 2.6 miles (15-20 seconds) before the driver applied the brakes, completely melting them, blowing the tires, and leaving thick rubber marks on the road surface. The vehicle then became airborne for an additional 1.3 miles, impacted the cliff face at a height of 125 feet, and left a blackened crater 3 feet deep in the rock.

Most of the driver's remains were not recovered; however, small fragments of bone, teeth, and hair were extracted from the crater, and fingernail and bone shards were removed from a piece of debris believed to be a portion of the steering wheel.

OFF topic but hilarious

As it appeared in 1995:
"Darwin award" Nominee: You all know about the Darwin awards -- it's an annual honor given to the person who did the gene pool the biggest service by killing themselves in the most extraordinarily stupid way.

Last year's winner was the fellow who was killed by a Coke(tm) machine, which toppled over on top of him as he was attempting to tip a free soda out of it.

IF youve read page4 post 79 then this will be ...

TODAY'S LESSON: Solid-fuel rockets don't have an 'off' switch . . .

why the f@@k did she cross her damn legs, i dont even do that at 150mph, and im a male!!!! :trouble:
