After Drift Stage here's the next 80's Retro Arcade-Inspired Racing game which grabbed my Attention.

45 grand thease guys are bonkers. It Looks Ok hope they get it but I rather just play a retro game.

To be honest, it looks try-hard to me. It looks like it wants to be the racing equivalent of Blood Dragon, but with the emphasis very much on the "wants to" part.

I'd love to be proven wrong though. The more good feighties* action I have in my life the better.

* I think I just created a term I really like - Feighties = faux eighties.

The first thing I thought of before seeing this video was this game being a modern version of the classic SEGA racing game "Power Drift" from 1986. Upon seeing this video, though, and while this game looks good, I'm on the "nah" side of the fence here. I am not too much sold on this game even in its pre-Alpha stage. Sorry...

They make a good promo video for sure but everything in the game footage wise can be achieved in unity within hour's and there is even a default prototype texture being used ... This is a unity game right?

I didn't know about this game until just yesterday. Granted there is seemingly very little to do, I do notice whenever I play racing games nowadays, it's for the visual illusion of going blazing fast and setting time records. This appears to focus solely on that.
