For those that pray
Please send up some for my Mother and Myself
She called me today to tell me my father died today, while working in the yard.
I am currently sitting here in tears not even trying to believe this.
My kids don't have a clue what to do to make me feel better.

My mother, I'm sure, is doing much worse.

For those that don't pray

Send out some good karma, and such.

I am so so so sorry to here that Gil......i can not even imagine being without my dad.....he is such a big part of my life, and i cant even start imagining how big of a part he was in your house....My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.....

I am currently "postwhoring" to keep my mind off it.
Will be getting to North Carolina soon to help moms deal with stuff.

Man - my heart goes out to you. I can run through all the platitudes and such that get said at times like this, but having been there I know at these early stages they seem to just run off you like water off a duck's back.

All you can do is work through the grief, and try to remember the good times - time is really the only healer in these circumstances. Hang in there, mate.
