I recently upgraded my MBP to lion and there seems to be something weird going on with preview. I dont use iPhoto, I just put all of my photos on the desktop in folders and when it gets cluttered, I put the folders onto and external HDD. Anyway, when I want to look at photos from a specific folder, I go to that folder, press apple+a to select all and then apple+o to open them. When I hit apple+o it opens the selected files plus other files from another folder on the desktop and I cant figure out why. Is anyone else experiencing this, or do you know how to fix it?
