Private Messaging Problem

I keep trying to send a PM so I can get into the registry but its saying the page is restricted.

Sorry am I missing something? i have had a message approved and it is showing up as normal but I don't see any option for sending a PM. Do I have to enable something first?



OK scrub that, I was looking for a PM button like the forums I built, I didn't realise you had to go up the top, lol.

You do have to get a first post approved before you can send a PM.
You also have to wait between 1 & 2 hours after getting that approval before the server refreshes to acknowledge that you've had a post approved and it activates your PM box.

There are several ways of sending PMs. If you click on another users title, you should see a dropdown menu, one option in there is "Private Message" which'll immediately take you to the Messaging screen.
If you view a user's profile, there is an option to "Private Message" on the right, just below where it shows their signature if they have one.
Also going into "My GTPlanet" will give "Send New Message" as one of the options down the left side.
Of course the easiest access to PMs is using the "Private Messages" link in the little yellow box at the top right of your screen at all times you're on GT Planet. 👍
