This car cannot be sold - Remove it from your garage?

It seems that 9 out of 10 cars so far in my game are worthless, even super-fast racing cars appear to hold no value. What cars can you sell for some decent cash in GT5? All I ever get is the above (rather pointless) option.

I remember the glory days of "Capri Rally - Easy" on GT4; 2 quick races and then 265,000 credits to spend. I got most of my cars this way on GT4, I'm not ashamed to admit. :guilty: :D

I actually think doing indionapolis american championship is quicker in terms of $$
but I do remember selling the ft-86 prize car for a decent amount of money...

Just checked that. 90,000c - the highest I've seen so far but still chicken feed when you consider the price of some new cars.

PS - I'm not looking for a way to make money (I would do exactly what you've said anyway), I'm just curious because "sell car" seems a pointless addition in GT5.

Any standard production car should be able to be sold, from the Enzo on down. Race cars should be possible, with the only ones not the preorder/special edition exclusives.

my enzo is not saleable

"sell car" as an option just seems, to me at least, as a way of simply making the game more difficult than it already is. It's quite insulting in most cases tbh.

But are there any cars at all that can be sold for BIG money? I haven't spend 20,000,000 on a car yet so don't know if you could sell one of those. But even then; you can only buy those cars, so you wouldn't want to sell them in the first place. It's usually about 30% right? So 6,000,000c... a loss of 14,000,000 :(
