Prize Cars...WTF mate?

It's won me far more races than it should in GT5 as well. The City Turbo II weighs next to nothing and just zips around corners. Absolutely great little car.

Have you chavved it up or left stock??

The Prize Cars are disappointing to me. At least PD made the cars exclusives (not available anywhere for purchase) to make them valuable & perhaps rare. But hey, the prize cars are quite historic, & some are desirable to some or many, including me, like the Jag XJ13 in the A-Spec Indy 500. The most disappointing to me is that most of the Prize Cars are unsellable.

They did that all rite...in GT1-4.
Now they're ALL purchasable except the GT academy nissans, and, to an extent, the Red Bull.

Engine and chassis rebuild and sport soft tires, otherwise it's as I bought it (bought one on a whim before I won it as a prize, oh well). It does push a bit if you overcook it in corners, but it's still a surprisingly fun little car.

Of course, to be fair, I have a soft spot for cars that focus on light weight rather than power in real life as well, so some of this may just be personal preference. Still, it's kind of fun to get passed by the AI on the long straights then blast past them again in the corners. When you're faster in one section and slower in another like that it really puts the pressure on to maximize how much you can pick up in your fast part and it really makes the run you get off the last corner before the straight critical to minimize the loss on the straights.
