Drogba? They managed to guff the X-Box cover up.

Thierry vs Terry is good though, one thing it says online play!

The Xbox version of PES4 was online already I think.

^Quality aside, that's a great video. Well worth the 40MB download.

Thanks for sharing. 👍

Bah, I finally got a WE9 patch with kits in it and then someone told me that the master league has a bit of a bug in it because all the youth players have japanese names after a few years.

PES5 is coming out soon, just wait for it. There´s a beta version floating around already.

Yeah I should have that beta soon. I'm looking forward to the retail version though because of the online play.

I'm still not too fond of WE9's mechanics.

I can't wait till 21st October :D
I can't wait to start my own ML team and play with them :D
Well, my brother has WE9 so I can play it all weekend now 👍

Here is my ML team so far in WE9.
Buffon (GK)

Quick question, are you playing a translated version of WE9? If you are, are the youth players names in Japanese still? Also do the stats still increase like in WE8 with the development curves? I realy enjoyed developing relatively young unknowns into world beaters.

Yes. I play the engilsh version of WE9. I think my brother patched it. And yes, you can develope younger players like in WE8. But it takes longer time. And the names, is all in english except some names. Can't really remember.

I just played my first PES5 game, a 4-3 win over Roma with Althletico madrid. I realy hate defending in this version, my players seem to love just looking at the ball and then running just past the ball. Oh well at least I managed to score more than one goal, in WE9 I found it difficult to score more than one goal in friendly matches.

Also they have ****ing removed the Argentinian and Brazillian teams that were in WE9, oh and added FC Copenhagen. Great, I realy wanted to use a fairly mediocre Danish side instead of Sao Paulo and ****ing Boca Juniors.

You have PES5? You mena you got it illagelly? ;)
Why did they remove Sao Paulo? I was actually looking forward to play with them. And I'm not really intrested in FC Copenhagen. Plain stupid...
Anyway..is it easier to defend, and is there less free kicks in the matches?

I heard there´s less fouls in the game yes, they seem to have exagerated a bit about this on WE9. And too bad they took SPFC out, but the team in WE9 is much weaker than in real life anyway...

Beta version was released a week ago, or the a review copy or whatever. I'm going to buy the release version anyway, because it has freakin online play and not buying games is bad mmmkay.

I think the defenders have just become more stupid, on both sides. I managed to let in three goals, by stupid little things like the ball bouncing off my defenders and then straight onto the other teams strikers foot. Although it seems to happen when you are attacking as well, so it's a bit easier to score.

Edit: Yeah they made all the south american teams pretty ****ty in comparison to the european teams.

Well i'm going to play another game. AS Roma v Ajax

Aha, the beta version..... :)
And about the south amercian teams...they suck really badly in WE9.
But in RL they are a lot better...mmmkay :odd: They should have alot better stats.
Anyway..I'm off to play some WE9 and start all over my ML since I have 5 freackin' players injured!!!

PS. Has anyone noticed that players gets injured really easy in WE9?

Yeah, I think it adds in realism, but sometimes is a bit annoying. Funny though, sometimes a player injures himself and they put some bandage on his thigh. Then when you decide to replace him he leaves the field with his hand holding the other leg.

Well, it happens sometimes.

It adds realism, yes, but when 40% of my team is injured, that is way too much.

Ah, I haven´t started playing the Master League yet, I´m waiting for a final patch to be released first. But yeah, 40% of the team injured seems a bit too much.

I asked if anyone had this problem at pesfan.com, but no one has noticed it yet  Weird.

I played a fair few PESS friendly games against the CPU yesterday and I do find the game nicer to play than WE9. I can't wait for the release version and patches.

My brother ''bought/got'' the PES5 BETA Version.....it's better then WE9.
The only letdown is that the team's names are not right :(

I'm sure there will be a patch released when the retail version is released. I hate the way some of the national teams still don't have real names.

Oh well at least the licenced leagues have updated kits, Juventus now have there italian flag away kit and barca have that ugly yellow away kit.

Also the transfers are mostly up to date and Joe Cole actualy looks like Joe Cole.

Yeah...hate EA for having all the lisences
I actually like Barcelona's ugly yellow away kit :)

I don't think it's ea monopolising the licences, it's just that Konami don't have teh bucks to pay for all the licences. Remember PES 3 only had like 2 licenced teams because that's all they could afford at the time. And since the PES/WE series has gotten bigger over the years they have now been able to include full licenced leagues.

Although I keep forgetting that the Japanese national team is the only licenced national team in the game. But who outside of Japan realy cares about that.

And it's ugly, i've seen that kit in real life and it looks terrible.

I hope they can afford all the lisences one day... :(
I'm off to play PES5 BETA :)
