Problem viewing 'did you see anything good today' thread

I dont think its just my computer doing this to me but, whenever i try to check up on this thread:
'did you see anything good today'
I have noticed that internet explorer freezes.
This cant be due to too many images as this thread has only just recently had any at all.
For whatever reason it may be, this has not happened in any other thread or anywhere else on this site or any other.
When it does freeze up it gets rather frustrating as i have to end the process, thus losing all other open IE windows:grumpy:
Is there something wrong with this thread inparticular?, is anyone else experiencing such problems?

No problem with either thread for me. I checked both the first and last pages of each thread, and had no issues.

Here we're running Windows XP with SP2 and IE6. If I remember later on I'll check with IE7.
 
thanks a lot der alta, what jordan mentioned did the job. I didnt even know you could turn off the links and ads though. :dunce:
sorry for not searching properly, i didnt generalise my search, so the specifics didnt turn up anything. :guilty:

I suppose i should have checked it out first, i thought though that the title was referring to slow loading times rather than a complete IE lockup upon entering said thread. Just goes to show how titling (sp?) your thread properly is as important as the content within.👍
