Is it possible this car is bugged in programming?
I tried to follow some proven methods to reduce the rear oversteer on corner entry by:
softening rear springs
raising ride height
reducing rear brake
lowering rear anti roll
lowering rear compression and extention
increasing IT LSD and playing with decel LSD
increasing rear toe
increasing rear camber
but I found that doing all exactly Opposite to the above, has actually stabilized the car for me, to an extent.
My rear is stiffer, my rear toe is negative, my rear camber is reduced, my ride height rake is lower at back, my rear antiroll is stiffer than my front, I even have stiffer damping in back. I shifted a little ballast around 25kg, toward front, and now i can decel around the 24hr Nur track with more confidence. I love how this car plows through anything once your entry is good.
I suppose this may be a car purposely to train the driver to react or pre-empt inputs based on its handling characteristics.
The one single tune that makes or brakes most effect, is rear extention damper. total soft is worse for corner entry, but just one notch at a time stiffer , really starts to show stabilizing. I don't know, I guess I expected something much better out of the gate with this car, compared to other 1,700kg+ fine exotics..
btw, is this the same car we drove in the final round 8 at Motegi?? clearly it doesnt handle the same at all!
edit: as per comparison below,& thx, but why can't I adjust apparent aero on this car? things that make me go hmmm...
