Problems with running GTC 2002 on Modded Ps2

Has anybody else have any problems running Gran Turismo Concept 2002 on a modded ps2?

my problem happened earlier this year um.... I think may round them times before I had GTC nuthin major my console just wouldnt load so I sent it to a place called madeira games to get it fixed in all it cost about 40 pounds for postage and repairing of the console

I herd that GTC 2002 has a mod chip detecter on it. Is this true ?

well the original price for my ps2 to be fixed was about #90 because the bloke said that they might replace the entire dvd drive and as for the game detecting mod chipps that a load of waffle

I need to mod my PS2, i want to play Ntsc version and Jpn version games with my PS2.
PS2 games publish in USA faster that in Europe.
And they are cheaper in USA too. But PS2 mod-chip cost too much right now, so i have to wait.
God Damn it.

hey man I don't know about the currency in finland but in the us games cost $50 and thats without including vat

No that's utter 🤬 Basically the Game :cd: Does not read the PS2..... The PS2 Reads the Game, see?

BTW I remember that there were a few PS0ne games that used to have some modchip protection. I think the japanese version of final fantasy 8 had it adn I think also dino crisis. They wouldnt work on chipped machines. So I think this is possible to implement quite easily on a PS2. Although I doubt that sony would need to do this.

my ava is jokes innit I got if y2tuscan when he used to have tyrone if ya don't know vinnie is in "snatch" anyway I can't remember seeing any games that couldnt be read buy chipped playstations

Yeah because all your PS0ne games were pirate, so they were patched. But if you tried like an origional copy of japanese ff8 you wouldnt be able to play it on your psone.
