Bathrust 6H weekend has started. Inagural GT4 Australia against Australian Production Car series racers.

BMW M3 and M4 road cars leading the lone GT4 Cayman and one of the two GT4 AMG GTs. Next GT4 AMG in 5th with the Ginetta in 6th.

Yellow flags waved as a Kangaroo hopped between cars, before The Chase.

It was a great race.

But I have a question from race 1.

How come the Audi that finished 3rd only got a 5 sec penalty for pitting after the window had closed? Even the commentators couldn't believe how light that penalty was. I would have thought at the minimum it would have been equivalent to a drive through or at worst a stop and hold for a lap.

It was odd, but a couple penalties didn’t quite work out as expected. I was just happy with P2 in the first race.
 
Just back from an awesome weekend at Castle Combe Summer Spectacular 👍
Spectacular racing and fantastic viewing points for the whole circuit 👍 All for £30!

Now all we need to see is decent 3D representation, on track at the 12hr.

We never did get to see the S550 GT4, despite confirmation of there being at least one in the country. Strange 🤔
Is it still here, or has it managed to slip overseas after being sold?

Indeed. All the hoopla about it and not even raced anywhere. The Showcase of Speed thing was all we got. It‘s got to be racing in the Monochrome GT4 series. Just has to.

The one in European GT4 only did the Paul Ricard race and vanished. The British GT Academy Motorsport entrant has been a sound participant. Main reason I watch that series.
