I believe the news article that initially announced Porsche, on the PCARS website, explicitly said that those 11 cars revealed will be the one coming to PCARS 2 (at least base PCARS).

And, sadly, the 1973 Carrera RSR Turbo wasn't on that list.

Meh I'll believe it when I see it. There have been times when they're timing was off on an announcement or reveal. Although the lack of showing many new cars since the E3 reveal trailer could be enough of a clue.
 
Any news about the bentley speed 8 returning and the 333 sp being confirmed ?

I also don't understand if the japanese cars' dlc is included in the base edition just read something along that line

The Japanese car pack is preorder only for both editions. As to the cars above, nothing confirmed but the 333 might have been spotted. Reveal may come soon

Most cars that aren't returning are purely to update the models. E.g. 12C to 650S. Although there are some others that won't, I don't expect the Speed 8 to be one of them in the slightest.

The Bentley Speed 8 and Ferrari 333 SP have both been spotted recently, so they will be there come September.

Sadly, my beloved Ford Focus road car isn't coming back :( I miss my old one with the manual gearbox. This virtual one was a nice surrogate. Now it's gone too :(

That's likely since the new civic type R is going to be in, granted it's an add on but it's the closest competitor besides the VW gti clubsport S to the focus RS.

The Civic Type R is the 2016 and not the brand new 2017 model. In performance terms it is very similar though. The current Focus RS would be nice though.
 
Classic DTM. Which do you like to drive more, the BMW or the Merc?
 
I get that 6 gears is better than 5 when racing, but having to make those movements for extra gear shifts means more changes to fudge up. It's safer with 5 gears so I usually take the BMW.

Related question (sorta). Do you have to heel-toe blip every single downshift or is it really only there for perfect finesse and you can get by without it?

I love the view out the AMG, but the M3 has to be tossed to get the most out of it. I'll say the AMG.

For aesthetics in the replays, I like Sierra, but hope the M3 can get the gold center wheels. Look so much better.

That Audi V8 though...
 
Gotta be the Merc. The BMW handles really nicely but the Merc looks way more badass.
 
Does the Bathhurst track look like the corners are more gentle on the downhill section? Not saying that's right or wrong just comparing to PC1.
Also group A is gonna be goooooooood.

I'm hoping this makes it in. I haven't driven a proper Mini race car, since that Simbin game on PS3.

It would compliment the One Make race cars(G40, Clio) we're getting.

I wish the classic Mini Cooper was included too. It was one of my favourite cars in GT Legends. Loved fighting against the more powerful cars by making up time in the twisty sections and defending on the straights!

I didn't notice a difference in terms of the circuit.

Group A was already good in PC1. It's just even better now. Easily the best touring car field in PC1 for me.

Yeah. And with added Audi V8 and Nissan Skyline from both DLC it will be incredible :)
