As they seem to be suggesting on social media that the release date will be announced shortly, then I assume it's BN's decision, not SMS's.....

Can anyone confirm that the track shown in that image is "The 'ring"? It certainly seems to be based on the "artwork" on the road surface. Nice fall setting :)

It is. Can't remember where on it but it is. Looks like halfway around the circuit.

It's going to be so epic driving the Nordschleife across the seasons. :) I'm so pleased that SMS is upending the "dry summer afternoon, maybe a night or wet version if you're lucky" standard. Varied weather, times of day, and different seasons are things we had in racing games 20+ years ago, before the advent of HD squashed any ambition from some developers.

- "Short Track" (Formula 3 and DTM) will be great
- old "Südschleife" for fun.

From memory the short versions were in last time.

Always no WEC lights or WEC LED number, with WEC Cars ?? disappointed.

2 things; hopefully the horsepower is a typo as it puts out 647hp not 674 and I hope they nailed the sound of the GTLM version, it's way off in forza 6 but I trust SMS based on PC1 car sounds.

They all look like C7.Rs and one GT GTE. Except for the blue one and the one directly behind it.

Maybe the TS020 because of the two reflections on either side?

I swear the black one in the middle of the turn looks like an LMP and more precisely a 919HY black livery.

I know it has been said it isn't included in release but maybe we have been fed some misinformation idk.

It can't be the TS020, it's a black car.

Anyone else sees a different car?
 
There are at least 3 Corvette C7.R cars in that pic and 3 Ford GT LMs. The rest are GT3/GTE but you'll have to work out what they are for yourself, no more clues from me :D.

Yeah. They looked like GT3/E to me. Think I see a Ginetta and an Audi there somewhere.
 
Blue car in foreground is NSX the one behind is 650S.

(but seriously, there are only GT3 and GTE cars in the shot)
 
I'm trying to understand where the TS020 comes into this. We have the TS040 in game.
