That Ferrari 365 Daytona was my "awesome" moment in the trailer  Can't wait for their E3 showcase!

I'm eager to find out what the tuning is like in the new game, what the cars are like straight out of the box; whether I can input the same setup values from my cars in pCARS1 and what differences there might be in the handling; and how much being able to control snap oversteer and slides now makes to the tuning side of things.

Can't wait to try (or even read about) it.

I'm hoping we can turn up and down the boost in certain classes with turbo cars such as group 5 where every car in that class is turbo but different power levels.

I'm sure this is impossible but if you lower boost or restrictor and are doing a one-make race have everyone limited to the same amount.

Amazon is doing preorders at $53.18*

They have not updated the release date though.

*I think you have to be an Amazon prime member to get this price.

I don't see how that's fully impossible. I don't mean every car to have the same power but say we can boost the ford zakspeed Capri from around 330hp to like 500 that way it's performance is a bit closer to the porsche 935's 580hp.

That trailer was ace, got to hand it to them.
Can't wait for this... so soon!

Love the snowy nurb too and the night racing footage. This E3 is going to be amazing

Ha, are you serious, its obvious that its a combination of the formula renault and the indy car. Pffftf :scared:
Wrong. Formula X was developed months before the 2018 Indy design was introduced. It was developed together with WMD, in view of where F1 could be in some years. Design and technical specs. And it was planned as a replacement for Formula A. But FA cames back, as Ian stated some time ago.

Well, then SMS needs to sue Dallara or IndyCar LOL. Soooo many similarities to the 2018 IndyCar it's not even funny.

I'm not arguing whether it was based on that or not. It has already been stated it's not, but OMG, the similarities are insane!! And also, BIG props to the SMS designers and WMD guys for coming up with something that ended up being so close to a real world design in the end.

I see the differences, BUT......

I also see a lot of similarities.

Like I said, Congratualtions to the SMS and WMD members that worked on the design. It's a big feather in their cap that their original desing ends up beign so similar to something a famous, global designer/constructor comes up with for use in the real world. It really goes to show just how much the lines between Sim Racing and real racing are blurring. Not surprising, considering both teams probably used similar tools to develop the design

I am talking about the whole package of what they have become from what they once were. Maybe its because for a time they were the only thing out there, but they had a lot to offer and so much content, but all their content now has become digitally outdated and they couldn't live up to their legacy so now they are a joke.

I share some same thoughts. What PCARS2 has shown so far works absolutely in their favor and makes me lose my appetite (for what was left) for GTS. The trailer of yesterday really showed the love for motorsports, the enthusiams surrounding it and the urge to get playing. Even if I didn't see my favorite brand yet, there is simply a lot to like in PCARS2.

Really hope that you can enjoy the Peugeot cars in Pcars2!

The rallycross car and the hdi lmp900 from the French brand would already be a great inclusion

I agree. What killed GT for me was GT5. Although I was stoked with the addition of Ferrari and Lamborghini and played the game quite a lot...or lets say as long or short as the single player aspect was.

What they did at the time with damage was an insult to gaming fans and it was already so far behind the competition even back then. Forza was way ahead in regards to damage and even the lighting in some cars driving at night in GT was Playstation2 stuff.

I just lost all love for GT and haven't bought it since and won't as nothing I've seen or heard made me excited. Project Cars 1 is miles ahead of any GT game IMO and with Pcars2 looking as promising as it does...just can't see GT coming close to it never mind surpassing it. This goes for Forza as well...though they are closer to Pcars than GT.

Offline play is what I like. The AI was the hook and I couldn't go back to GT.
The Endless array of racing, as I still haven't used every car, might still make it difficult for me to try every car in PC2(I still haven't driven every car in PC1). Now with so many ways to configure the races, I'll have to add some circuits to the list of things I may not get to. Fun times ahead.

For me personally, fantasy Formula cars are great. I loved the Gran Turismo Red Bull X cars. All the better is that the cars themselves do not have to comply with current regulations. This car could have a 1500 HP Turbo V12 and KERS and DRS and Ground Effects because, why not? My guess is this car will be more tame than that, but you get the idea. I'm looking forward to this car as much as almost any other in the game.

The most interesting technical aspects of this car is all of the engine cooling would have to be routed through the side-pods since there is no overhead airbox. And the windscreen. I like the windscreen quite a bit. I think F1 and IndyCar should have implemented a windscreen such as this a long while ago.

@FuriousDemon You'll like the water too... specially f you get caught on slicks :P :D
The level of simulation in the game is absurd...If it's all tuned true-to-life, it's mind blowing. Wonder that they've got cooking for pCARS 3...I'm not sure what else you can add as far as the simulation goes, maybe just refine it a bit.
