sometimes they lied to people about fix other games including pre-download issue. Until Dawn take too long to fix it properly for pre-download. i called Sony and they said it should be fixed later in the evening and night time hit, i went to download it and it keep error then i waited for them to fix it and took two days late after the day it released

That's what they thought was the truth. Lying is intentionally deceiving.
 
People saying can't download on PS4, mine wouldn't when I pressed download, so went to LIBRARY , PERCHASED, PROJECT CARS 2, download from there. Hope that helps, psn is glitchy sometimes
 
Mine can't download... I made sure there was enough space on my PS4 hard drive and also made sure there was no problem with my transaction (from early august)... I get Download Error from the library or from the PSN website... PSN Store US

It says the game is 52 GB in size at the moment, but my PS4 only downloaded
13 GB when I switched it on today. That seemed to be the limit too because it said
"13 GB / 13 GB downloaded". Will the remaining GB's be portioned out every few
hours or how does this work?

yes. you need continue downloading until it reach 52 gb then download is done
 
Pick up my disc tomorrow morning and it's, literally, "game on!".

Ok I'll check when I go home, turned it off when I went to work oops
 
So, got my code for Xbox version over at WMD yesterday, I'm Gold tier at WMD so it's the deluxe version. Left it to download whilst I was at work. Got home and it's all finished, so just waiting for my daughter to go to bed so I can start my career.

I called Sony, after a brief 30 minute hold Daniel got on the line and informed me...

It will be available to download midnight tonight for US residents.

It will be time zone specific meaning 12am in your location.

They're doing this to "spread downloads out" as it would seem there have been many, many pre-orders.
 
But that means the 21st. They said the 22nd. What's that about?
 
My Amazon pre order shipped yesterday. I was hoping it would get here tomorrow but tracking still says Friday delivery. Shipping via USPS so it'll be in my mailbox about 10AM Friday.
 
Complete reinstall for me. Start fresh :D
~20m downloading and then it'll take longer to install, i bet. Need an SSD for games as well :)
