Another Ford maybe?

We tried real hard to get SMS to change the current Formula Rookie (Formula Ford) to the new model. They didn't take. I'd not be sad to see the new one show up sometime. Smart looking little thing. The street version is maniacal looking/sounding.

Loving the Cars but not the track. It's just not my cup of tea. The Aston GTE has so many cool paint schemes and also i love how it handles.:D

It's too bad we can't use the whole test track in online lobbies, I was looking forward to hosting demolition derbies on that skidpad (I assume that's what it is).

I drove all of the cars and the only Aaron's I like is DBR1-2 and the V8 Vantage GTE. The LMP Aston is like groove metal like Five Finger Death Punch (not as fast as some of the LMP but still fast and aggressive) where the V8 Vantage is alternative metal like godsmack (much slower car to drive but heavy and deep sounding). The 300SL is alternative rock like nirvana (not as exciting but still enjoyable). I think the dbr-1 is like shock rock because it have the scariest handling out of all GT-3 cars. Love the track though.

I just drove the Aston GTE....

IT'S HEAVEN ON EARTH!!! THIS THING IS PURE AMAZINGNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a brilliant car but it is a pity they limited it to compete with GT3 cars. The real car has over 600bhp while in-game it has 450bhp. They should allow us to fully open the restrictor to achieve full power.

I have been loving all 4 cars so far while Mojave Test Track is quite challenging in places.

Did anyone buy the Logitech Livery Pack?

Id say the silhouette looks like an open wheel type car, I do see a wing I think, but then I also see a deltawing type nose, I am hoping for the Ford pack though,

will pay for car and tracks,... not for some paint schemes 👎

Tested the free Benz last night with the pad. Thing is on rails despite no assists, no oversteer, no wheels locking, not even when deliberately behaving stupid. And the squiggly back when you stop hard is asking for the Benny Hill theme. Not very convincing.

Also drove a round of GT3 at Mojave eh... Something Something Ridge. Nice arcade track, would be right at home in something like Grid 2.

downloaded the DLC and decided to have a 3 lap race of the longest Mojave circuit. As I approached the start of lap 2 i saw an AI car happily sitting on the grid (saw a glitchy video showcasing this behaviour yesterday too) and as I was on lap 3 my PS4 crashed completely, forcing my wheel to start violently dancing left to right, crashed to XMB.

Not exactly the start I was hoping for. Had poor reliability since patch 4.0 all round.

Having said that, Mojave looks like an interesting track, and of the cars I only drove the GTE, tuned it a bit, handles pretty nicely but I found it a bit lifeless and kinda heavy. LMP next up.

By default it has some restrictor added in the setup, I removed it, and it's very competitive. And actually, the Aston GTE on the Prodrive website says 480bhp (and they're showing the new car). And it'd make sense. The car weighs 2700lbs. The GT3 Aston weighs about 150lbs more and only has about 80hp more. Plus the GTE is a bit more aero friendly.

Now...SMS...where's the pitcrew? :P

Totally agree with you there mate, I find it stupid to have two Aston's in the same class when they are completely different cars, just put the Aston Vantage GTE into it's own thing you could even put it with the BMW M3. I suppose we will have to wait and see if they add anymore GTE class cars and up the power on the Aston and BMW.

What they need to do is put them into the endurance league, and replace the gt4 with gt3
^This. They should replace GT3 with the GTE cars, and then maybe go the ELMS approach and have GT3 in the lower category in the endurance championship. You know, GTE and GTC. (or something like the ALMS's GT/GTC setup I suppose)

I'd imagine on consoles 24+ animated pit crews would bring the FPS down to a crawl.
So that's an excuse not to put them in? That's not the excuse. They had them on console in testing (I remember people posting pics) and games like F1 2015 and Forza 6 have pitcrews (AND GT6 which is on the PS3(!) ).The reason they weren't in initially was because they said they were still working on the animations. I'm sorry but...it's been about 4 months since launch. Where the **** are they?

Personally i think they'd be better getting the game working properly before adding more features. Pit crews are likely to bring even more bugs!
