Cool! Might be more helpful if you put it all in a google documents spreadsheet though. Some people have created prize lists and stuff in google docs, and they've been nice to have.

As a side note, the german paint names with the funny B character is just two S's. In English the proper way to write it is: Alpinweiss

This is actually very helpful. Now we can see all of our colors that are available (pretty much) on demand, and those that we might want to save for "special occasions".

I would love to see this expanded to standards, though that would be a massive task. As far as I know, when cars reappear in your own used dealership they will always be the same colour, but for other people they are often different, and presumably still factory paint jobs.

The paint chips that you get as gifts for logging in could perhaps be included though, i've not even looked at any of those yet.

If so, add images from in game, so there is consistency. The problem with adding images found online, is the color may not match what we see in game due to light, camera settings, etc. Also, I highly doubt you will find every color of every new car in game. Just browse through the new car dealership, and pick each car, take a pic, change color, etc. It will be WAY faster.

Not getting ya :(
And i've just been using images i've taken with my DSLR, no white balance

There has to be at least 2000-3000 paint chips available, thats a lot of work.

Good luck:tup:... may I ask the motivation behind this philanthropic quest?:sly:

Heh, I've wanted to do something similar, but just don't have the willpower. Always on the look-out for that "one right paint".

Pictures definitely help, though I'll agree with the sentiment that they should probably be taken in-game to more accurately display the colours. Good luck with this!
