On the other hand why they should mention PS5 vr on steam page?

You are right that we need more confirmation on this, but MotoGamesTV was there talking with devs. Maybe he understood them wrong, maybe they are planning psvr2 support on later date. We will see.
They wouldn’t mention it on the Steam page, but there isn’t anything about it on the PS Store page yet. On the other hand there isn’t a mention there about PS5 Pro support and that is surely coming, so still all wait-and-see until there is official confirmation in writing.

To be honest. Beside a vague psstore page, which isn’t even on front selection of upcoming games (you need to search for it) there isn’t much. I doubt it is final psstore page for this game.

I was just playing FS22 and stumbled upon this, nice

Most Steam 'features' lists are generic cut and pastes rather than system-specific ones

Oh I agree its not 100% either way, just wanted to point out that we have (massive surprise) conflicting information at present. Personally, I hope it gets to PSVR2, as currently it has a dearth of racing title support.

Xbox Year 1 Bundle edition sounds interesting for DLC; entire classes, and tracks in the season pass?

"Description

Get the Year 1 Bundle for Project Motor Racing and complete your ultimate racing experience. With all the classes, tracks and content from the Year 1 Season Pass, you’ll get a copy of Project Motor Racing plus all additional content. Race 5 fire-spitting icons from a wild, unhinged era of speed, noise, and excess from the Day 1 Group 5 Revival Pack. Then add an additional 3 Content Packs plus the Year One Expansion Pack and complete your ultimate motor racing experience."

Cool if there will be more historic content.

What's up with youtubers? Irreversible brain rot? I watched Gamermuscles first try on it, he barely got out of the pit and was already reviewing it. Didn't even get a quarter way around the track and compared it to 3 other Sims. Am I meant to take reviews/opinions serious from someone that does this? How about at least, the veery least do a couple full laps concentrating on the software and no yapping from the first second you press the throttle. It's utterly ridiculous.

I hope this game is on par with Pcars2 but focused on consistent quality and not quantity. It doesn't have to be the best, it just has to be good.

It’s cool that the game seems to be having an emphasis on older FIA GT and N-GT categories, but I’m still kind of facepalming at how much hype and a rush to preorder there is surrounding this sim so far.

At the end of the day this is still an Ian Bell product, and under no circumstances should anyone ever preorder an Ian Bell product. Take everything from the lead up to launch with a cargo ship’s worth of salt.

And what’s with Ian Bell projects all having such uninspired and boring names? Project Cars, the Mad Box, Project Motor Racing?

Grip, TrackDay, Redline, Shift-Up, Final Drive, etc. Those are all off the top of my head and I think they’re all far better names for a “definitive sim” than Project Motor Racing, like... come on, pick a better name for your projects than one that makes it sound like an unfinished build.

It's great to hear and see all the latest developments. I will wait awhile longer before deciding to pre-order. I am sure that I would if it was PC2 with AMS2 phyiscs or better. I will be more interested in the whole package to see what sets it apart and makes it stand out. I really only have time to really devote to one or two sim racing games. Still go back to PC2 occasionally, even though AMS2 is my main sim. At the moment though have basically no force feed back with PC2. Might need to uninstall and re-install. Hope they do mainly focus on the classic / historical race cars and race series.

Definately a wait and see for me. The track record of Sim Racing's Peter Molynuex is more then enough for me to pause before pulling the trigger despite the eye candy.

Did you forget to put your wheel in compatibility mode for PC2? I did that a while ago myself on my DD2 and I nearly had an aneurism trying to figure out what was going on until I remembered that stupid detail.

If this game is as good as it is looking right now it is going to be an awesome game. The question is will it be awesome day one or down the line? Right now I am leaning more towards the latter but I have to wait and see. I am excited for this game but I think I am going to wait for it to be out awhile.

Seems a little too much like PC for me, I enjoyed that release on PC, was a part of the WMD stuff, great games and a super enjoyable platinum obtained on PC2, PC3 sold out so this hold little interest

I’ll stick with GT until a Forza Motorsport ports over

Uninstalled and re-installed the game. I did change the setting on connect to external devices to 1. I will mess around with it some more in the next week or so. Not that big of a deal even when was work normal. Force feed back severally underated compared to AMS2.

Here's your problem right here. Don't watch that moron. Thumbs down the video as quick as you can and get out of there.
Ha yes. I stopped watching him a long time ago after he joined another YouTubers stream and butted in our debate and he was encouraging the creator to boot me out saying I was trolling, he didn't agree with my view so that meant I was trolling. He couldn't answer any of my questions though. It was random call sign I was having a debate with and while we completely disagreed it was a friendly debate until Gamermuscle came in and influenced random callsign to change his demeanor.

They wouldn't be doing a bad thing by just making it Pcars2 but improved and with new content. I don't think we really need new ground breaking features for a game to be fun.

I had a bit of same trouble with him a good while ago unfortunately. He was defending another major race games/sims youtuber, from my critique, and he went in putting me down.

Idk, i kinda liked him, and share some of his views, some not, although to be fair it can depend on the platform and hardware you have experience with something, but did unsub, rubbed me the wrong way.
And I'll admit i was mostly wrong too, about the game, but not the other youtuber i feel.
Anyhow, not big deal..

Figured it out and should of tried this first. Reset the in game wheel configuration to default. This fixed it. Will slowly adjust setting to get things back to how I had them maybe a year ago.

PC2 still looks good with ultra settings. Currently using 49 inch monitor.

Might as well use Pops Racer custom FFB while your at it. That's the best one I've found so far.
Thanks for the tips. I think that I might have one custom FB file already. Do not remember which one. Guess steam backs up everything.

Will slowly tune game settings over the weeks to come. Then play occasionally. AMS2 is great, except some things not as good as PC2. Liveries in AMS2 are basically lacking and not very many for most car classes. PC2 has pretty good liveries. They need to fix replay on AMS2. I do not want to know the car I am watching when will be me 90 percent of the time. Just default to track view, my car and hide the menu after 10 secs. I am not sure what they have done however there are some tracks in track view replay mode. When the camera is on other side of the race track - annoying.

Pretty sure would I buy PC2 with AMS2 phyiscs even with not a lot of other features. Which means most likely locked in for PMR. On the other hand guess AC - Evo could be the GT or Forza of sim racing.

Any guesses as to the TBC track in Africa? The only one I can think of is Marrakesh but not sure that works with the car classes they've announced.

Got to be Marrakesh or Phakisa.

I'm leaning to Marrakesh just because we have a few classes to be revealed yet, and my gut feeling is that, as the following 2 games developed by Simbin after GTR2 were World touring car games, Marrakesh would fit quite nicely with that if one of the remaining classes was a nod to those touring car games.

If we get a proper touring car class (BTCC, WTCC, TCR, whatever) then all PC3-related sins are forgiven.

It seems we get laserscanned tracks but with that classic content what are the chances they revive those old layouts from the past? I can't imagine they would pass up on classic Lemans, classic Nürburgring and classic Spa...

Thoughts?

Thoughts?
To prevent a clash with the "Laser scanned tracks" headline of the main game, maybe the old tracks (and cars) could be added via DLC at some point in the future. I'm not sure if they need licenses for tracks that don't exist anymore.

I see touring cars of various ilks are often mentioned as being wanted and I wouldn't be surprised if they are also added via a DLC pack.

Mind you there's still a good number of cars and tracks to be revealed yet, so who knows what's yet to come.
