On PS5 same issue with my FANATEC GT DD PRO wheel (and changing settings don't solve it).

The Force Feedback is definitely broken on the PS5 version of the game 😩👎 .

Is that a general consensus that the force feedback is broken ON PS5? 🤔

I'm on the PS5 Pro and my force feedback is FANTASTIC

I didn't want to tinker with settings so I'm using set up number 2 on my wheel which is the same setup I use for project cars 2. It feels terrific without a single adjustment

It's not a still image/picture, you can see different reflections on different angled parts of the hood. The camera is fixed directly to the hood though, no wobble. I can't unsee it after you pointed it out though.

Well maybe not a still image but man does it look weird! I’ll have to watch the game in cockpit view and I’ll have to watch GT7 on bonnet cam and see if it does the same thing. It looked pasted onto the screen lol

Yeah me and some others are having issues (specifically with the ffb feeling very grainy/notchy) but it seems to be more of an issue with thrustmaster ps5 wheels

Same wheel, no problem with FFB.
Worth mentioning that I have only played for about 1hour.

I get a kick out of how the consumers are the developers guinea pigs now. I think I’ve decided I’m never preordering a game again. Maybe times will change but probably not until NOBODY preorders games. Gamers did it to themselves. I was one of them but, only because the developers or publishers promoted it. Turns out it’s crap, it was kind of neat at first but it’s become, well cobble the game together, you all test it, then we’ll fix it… maybe.

You’d think they own a PS5 and PS5 Pro to test on. But I’m pretty sure Ian Bell mentioned they didn’t test console and they should have? I may have read that wrong somewhere though.

Thanks for that. My interest in this game is mainly in the LMPs. So when I get this that is where my focus will be. I do think there is something to what you said about the game being built around the older cars.

I'll see if I can get something this week. Preference ? Request?

Please could someone list the current Factory Driver Mode /Endurance Hall events that are currently available?
I don't have PS+ as i don't play online multiplayer these days so can't see them at the moment. I was quite looking forward to them (particularly with the Career Mode being more bland than expected) so will get PS+ just for them if there are enough of them.
From videos i can see there is the Lister Storm time trial at Silverstone, and C5.R at Daytona, just wondering what else there is.

Yeah very odd. Considering even the clubs mode in EAWRC doesn't require PS+ and it's basically single player with leaderboards.

One thing I really like is the tire system; you have to know how to use them in a race.

I just raced in a lobby with 20 players in Imola, a 10-lap race, and despite having played very little GT3 cars so far, I managed to climb through the field even against faster players. If you go flat out entering the corners, you might go faster, but the tires overheat with each extra drift.
In the final laps, I was also pushing too hard, seeing that I was catching up to the guy on the podium, and because I entered the corners too fast, the tires started to heat up to over 100 degrees Celsius, and I began to lose grip. I had to slow down, and the guy behind me almost overtook me.

I've been messing around with mods and this was throwing me a curve-ball last night, trying to fix an issue with sliding under braking and then realized my tires were over 100C, let them cool down a bit, get under 100C and all of a sudden had grip back again, certainly interesting, I don't feel like this tire overheating dynamic is really present in any other sim I've tried.

Can also flash heat the tyres and flat spot them as well, it's also really well handled with cooling them, you can actually back off a little and bring the temps back into a window.

Made some tweaks and got it somewhere half way decent for myself.

Using a Thrustmaster TGT2.

Still needs to come a long way, but I find this good from what we're offered.

Can not turn on the headlights.
Tested practice with 5 AI cars at 2am and No cars had the headlights on.

I could turn on dash lights, rev counter etc.

Am I missing something 🤔😊

Hi Jojje, you need to bind the lights to a button on controller. I use R1 + R2 (For lights and wipers) lights & wipers work for me but some of the AI car brake lights don't work in some races causing me to crash in to them. I am still testing the controller but think i have a good all round one now.

Just spent another couple of hours with it, starting a career with the MX-5, couple of time attack runs and the driving is just damn enjoyable, despite its many criticisms and nearly all of them justified, I’m actually having a dang good time just actually racing.
I find the handling to be spot on too, those using controllers may think otherwise and I really do sympathise.
It has a lot of spit and polish to be sorting out with the AI, graphics , and general bugs but as for the actual driving, I’m loving it so far.

I have bind the X button on the wheel to turn on the lights.
But the only lights that turns on is the dash lights ( revs etc ) not the headlights.

Really strange.

I forgot to mention that when I started my career I couldn't keep pace at Silverstone with my Mazda. It was really frustrating. I didn't feel confident with the car, especially under braking but I'm sure it was my poor driving

Anyway, I completely forgot that we can download other people's content and there were four individuals who had uploaded setups.

I downloaded the setups from Hobbs, I believe.

It was like night and day using the car. Other than adjusting fuel for qualifying, I didn't change a single thing and it was perfect

I can see where how average to below average racers like me are going to benefit from all the content we can get from the savvier Sim racers
